Proofreaders? · 12:15am Aug 9th, 2012
I've got the last parts of the story done. They're written, and ready to go, and have been for about a few weeks now. The final chapter is like 25K-26K. The epilogue is only about 5K-6K.
I've already gotten the last chapter proofread, but I could really use a second set of eyes on the epilogue. My usual proofreader has been understandably and incredibly busy as of late, but I'd really like to get this stuff posted before I get too busy moving back to school.
I'm hitting the road back to university this weekend, and then I've got several days in which I'll be busy getting ready to move into my new place at school. Bottom line, I'd like to see this story published and finished before I get too caught up in moving and such.
Mostly, I'd just like for someone to read over the epilogue and see if there are any glaringly stupid plot points that I need to change/fix, if anyone is out of character, you know, stuff like that. I'm pretty good with grammar and spelling mistakes, but of course if you happen to see any, please do point them out.
The final "chapter" is already more or less ready to go, but in order for the epilogue to make sense, obviously, I'll let you go ahead and read that beforehand, as well. Criticism on it is welcome too, but I really just want someone to look over the epilogue.
So, basically, comment or drop me a message if you wouldn't mind helping me out. You'll be getting to read this before almost anyone else who's been following it, and you'll be helping me make the story better!
As I've said several times before, terribly sorry for the wait.
Lay it on me. You want a list of any errors, or you want 'em corrected?
Alright, PM me your email address and I'll share the GDoc with you. If you'll just point out anything that sticks out as contrived, etc etc, I prefer fixing them myself. I like using Google Docs because you can add comments right alongside the page.
But like I said in the post, I'm not too concerned with grammar/spelling, just "stupid writer tricks" lol. I'm usually pretty good with grammar/spelling. Shira actually rarely corrected me on stuff like that, his major contribution was in helping me avoid cliches and such.
Anyway, thanks!
Hey the_panic,
I'm so glad that you got the next chapter ready to go, it seems that school and life is really getting in your way. But that doesn't matter anymore, you finish one chapter though and damn, about 24 thousand words!? This is gonna be the longest chapter that I will ever read after this is published.
Also, you don't need to be sorry, well, of course we waited so long for next chapter to find out what the heck is going to happen between the couple. So there it is, it's done and it's longer than any other chapter that you have ever written in your own account. You should feel very proud of yourself.
Anyway, thank you for uploading this blog to let your fans know what you have done, it's been a long time since you've got in touch with us. Stay fresh and don't give up. Oh, and good luck on your university classes.
P.S. I'm a bit sure if this ever bother to you, but in case if you don't know me.
I am the one who helped you proofread on Ch. 8 of your story by only two misspelled words, you know? 'wear' instead of 'where', and 'ponyville' without capitalization.
The reason I did this because I wanted to get rid of the mistakes on your story, to make everything look perfect as possible. So yeah, I'm happy that you've fixed that.
Thank you for reading this and I'll see you in the next chapter, my friend.

Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?
I'm actually still at my internship, moving out of here this weekend, though. And thanks, definitely looking forward to getting back to school. New England is... Not my favorite place.
You can say the reason why there's a delay. I greatly apologize about it but breaking up with my Fiance has really messed up my creative abilities for the time being, including editing. I'm so sorry

Hey don't sweat it man, I definitely don't hold it against you at all. You don't have to apologize. I'm sure if I were in a similar position, the last thing I would be worrying about was MLP fan fiction being written by some dude I knew on the Internet. It's not a big deal, seriously.
You do what you gotta do to take care of yourself, and if you feel like you want to work on any stories with me in the future, (whether its me editing your stuff or vice versa), you know how to get in touch with me. I've had a lot of fun working with you on my little project here, just so you know.
As for me saying your reasoning, I prefer to let others break their own news, if they even want to. Some people can be touchy about that, you know?
If you still happen to need one I'm free for it, if not then just let me know when its ready!
