At long last, after all these years months...
Yes, that's right! Another chapter of Mistletrapped!
And better still, I have the remainder of the story written up and mostly edited; my plan is to post the final chapter and the epilogue within the next few days.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with this story:
Spike is going to get a kiss from Rarity this year, he just knows it – and the mistletoe he just put over the front door is going to help him do just that. But when Twilight lets Rarity into the castle in his place, Rarity believes that Twilight is trying to get a kiss from one of her friends. Too bad Twilight has no idea what Rarity is talking about.
And when Spike answers the door after Sweetie Belle shows up to join her big sister for the Hearth Warming party, he finds his trap backfiring as he gets a kiss from the wrong unicorn.
Now Rarity is pestering Twilight about her love life and Spike can’t get away from the Cutie Mark Crusaders.
Where did it all go wrong?

Of course it is good. I wrote it.
I've actually been sitting on it for a month, and been sitting on this chapter's final form since like, Wednesday. The final two chapters are basically done; it is more paragraph-level tweaking at this point than anything.

It is setting up for chapter 6. Indeed, the reason why I sat on chapter 5 for so long was so that I could release chapter 6 shortly thereafter; my goal is to post chapter 6 around this time tomorrow, and the epilogue on Sunday.

Thanks! Yeah, I feel kind of bad for how long it took me to update this; I've just been sitting on it for ages. Fortunately, it is basically done now; I just need to tweak a couple things in chapter 6 this evening. I have the whole rest of the story written out and mostly edited at this point, and I hope folks are happy with the conclusion I have planned.
Ooooh, that means it'll be finished before I have time to read it! xD
In a way, that saddens me though. As excited as I am to see an update, it comes with the knowledge that it's gonna be over soon D:

I've got tons more story ideas to write, though (or finish, in many cases), plus Shotgun Wedding to finish eventually, so I won't be stopping writing stuff anytime soon.
