Moving right along... · 3:49pm Oct 16th, 2015
In the space of ten days, I've completed another three-story cycle of Five Star Service, The Lawyer and the Unicorn, and Rise of Firefly. New chapters were written and released for each in that time, and now I'm back at the cycle start again, on Five Star Service. I don't think I need to tell anyone what that's going to be about!
There's also a side project I've been working on occasionally. I made a promise to Raven Regios, owner of the Turnabout Storm novelization, that I would edit one of her earlier stories and basically give it the Turnabout Storm treatment--not just grammar correction but lots of new stuff, large tracts almost completely rewritten. So if you're interested in a modern war/MLP crossover similar to Feathered Heart, check out Call of Duty: Equestrian Warfare.
The chapters you see now are the ones I've already hit; she's unpublished the remainder pending my edits. I'll admit it's been a rather difficult job for me, not being familiar with the Call of Duty world, and I've had to learn about the characters and battles referenced as I go. But I think I've made it work so far. I'm about half-done with it. The hardest part has been writing it in third-person present tense, and I'm sure I've missed some stuff. I'll have to give earlier chapters another pass at some point. Special thanks goes to AJ_Aficionado for helping with the later chapters.
Check out the latest part if you'd like to see my take on a dragon battle with an M1A2 Abrams tank!
While you're over there checking out Firesight's edited story, check out Raven's Space Dandy story. Ignore the stats on it, trust me, it is hilarious! I had tears running down my face, it's awesome!
I don't even know what Space Dandy is! And it doesn't matter. Trust me, I'm the AJ Aficionado.
