Two years on here and only now do I wake up.

So yes, two years. I had initially wanted to do readings of stories. following in the footsteps of Crazed Ramblings or Scarlette Blade. However, my voice leaves much to be desired when it comes to expressing emotion and character.

So here I am with nothing more than a love of MLP and an OC I made for Twitterponies. An OC, I will admit, I love very much and want to expand on through fiction. And therein lies another problem. It has been too long since I put pen to paper in a creative manner, having done a history degree and leaning heavily of reference books seemed to put a big old dent in my creativity.

So, what has brought me back to attempt to get the old brain back in gear? One writier: Anzel. Simply put, his Royal guard fiction really interests me and has the added bonus of striking a chord with my OC's life in Twitterponies. He is (as his last work on TP) a guard for Princess Luna, however, his specalist talent makes him more of an engineer, so he was placed in more of a repair pony for the royal guard. A pony who makes, repairs and distributes all forms of armour, weapons and other gadgets that are requested.

This in itself doesn;t make for a very interesting pony as far as my mind can see. So this is where I turn to inspiration from Anzel. And maybe with some help from the wonderful people here maybe I can turn my OC into something people might enjoy. It's just....where to start.
