I would like to start off by saying, I'm pretty sure no one reads this. Why am I saying this, I might ask. Well because I'm the only one reading it. I bet you didn't notice that my question from before didn't have a question mark. I did. I'm also changing up the format of these a bit. At first, I wrote these as I watched an episode. That meant I didn't have much time to get my thoughts straight,

This time I'm writing about "Brotherhooves social". I think the episode is super cute. I'm clearly going to have to talk about Mac's need to cross dress. It's weird. For some reason, though, I like the concept. Big Mac went extremely far to make his sister happy, and I think that is really awesome of him. I'm watching the episode as I write this, and I would really like to talk about the

So, at first, I wasn't sure I wanted to continue the blog. I was just going to leave it as it is, but now I'm actually going to continue them. I will try to do one of these for each new episode that I see, and I will do some for the season 5 episodes that have already come out. The episodes I'm most likely going to do are Rarity Investigates, Made in Manehattan, and Brotherhooves Social. Thank

So, this is my first blog, ever. I'm really not sure how to go about this, but I really needed to get some words out in the open, instead of say, boiling in my brain area. First things first, Crusaders of the Lost Mark. I might cry. It was really the perfect CMC episode for me. Many spoilers ahead, so stop now or forever keep your peace. At first, I thought this would be another Indiana Jones

At first, I thought this would be another Indiana Jones style episode like Read It and Weep. I was gladly mistaken. This episode turned out to be the absolute perfect thing for me. A lot of stuff has happened to me that has me stressed out, part of why I'm making this post, but this episode lifted my spirits perfectly. I thought repeatedly about not keeping up with the show and not being a part in the community at all, but this episode brought everything that originally drew me into the show back. It was really refreshing. The big part of the episode, of course, was Diamond Tiara's redemption. Most people were expecting CMC cutie marks, and we all new what there talents were, but Diamond Tiara was a wild card. We couldn't possibly know where she was going. She seemed to just be a foil for the CMC to deal with. Their own little Nightmare Moon to battle. Now Tiara is the metaphorical Luna. It was also a great deal of development for Silver Spoon, who went from no character at all, to being strong enough to stand up to Diamond Tiara trying to bully her and pressure her to do Tiara's bidding. This really makes me want to see Babs Seed again. I think seeing the reformed DT would really boost her confidence with the bullies back in Manehattan. I also felt the feels when DT's mom yelled at her, because of how much I hated her before. Seeing her not want to disappoint her parents, but also wanting to be her own person was just perfect. I also think this episode showed of one of the greatest lessons for children in kids' media. Diamond Tiara decided that she didn't have to live her life like her parents did, and that is such an amazing moral for everyone, really.
Now I should talk about the Cutie Mark Crusaders new Cutie Marks. They're what I expected. The only thing I didn't expect is that they are all linked by the CMC patch shape, which is cute. What's frustrating is that we've known there talents ever since The Show Stopper (which wasn't an absolutely terrible episode). It was satisfying to see them get their cutie marks together. As I was saying, they marks were just expected. I can't wait to see were things go from here, now that they want to help other people find their talents, but I fear their episodes will start to feel like Magical Mystery cure, trying to find out which pony is best for which job, and I also feel like if the writers go that route, which pony should do which job would be painfully obvious to audiences.
Thank you for reading my first blog post about the new Crusaders of the Lost Mark episode, I hope you will return to read my subsequent blogs, and I'll catch you later
