Good afternoon readers! I'm thrilled to announce that Crystal Wishes and I are kicking off our fall cameo call today. If you've ever wanted to have your OC appear in one of our stories this is your chance! Four lucky readers will have have that opportunity. Entering is extremely easy. Just read the information below so that we're all on the same page and then click the link to the form.
We're also going to announce which of our patrons won the "Your Character Here" bimonthly art piece! Every other month one patreon supporter's OC will be chosen at random to appear in an image with a Quill & Blade character of their choice. Q&B cannot control how long it will take for the artist to complete the work but it will be completed.
Congratulations to Lord Legion! Please reach out to myself or Crystal to coordinate your OC and which Q&B OC you'd like them to appear with.
Now, on to the cameo call!
What is a cameo call?
Crystal and I aren’t super popular authors but we do consistently get one to two cameo requests a week. We both believe very strongly in treating everyone fairly and equally. We don’t want to have to explain why we picked one person over another. As such, periodically we will hold a “cameo call” where you may submit your OC. Others will do the same. We’ll randomly pick a few and those OCs will receive a cameo.
What are the rules?
All Cameos must comply completely with our Cameo Policy. Additionally, for this cameo call we'll only be taking one cameo per story. That means if you do win you may not get first choice on which story your OC appears in. Additionally, if you won first or second place in the last cameo call you can only win third or fourth in the next one so that everyone has a chance.
How will you decide the winners?
The cameo call form will be open until October 22nd. Once it closes we'll take all of the entries and assign them a number. We'll then use a random number generator to select a first, second, third, and fourth place winner.
What will the winner get exactly?
First place – First pick of story, one full scene involving your character.
Second place – Second pick of story, one full scene involving your character.
Third place – Third pick of story, your character will appear in a scene as a background pony.
Fourth place – Last pick of story, your character will appear in a scene as a background pony.

We really don't require anything else but we do have some things we'd appreciate. This cameo call is meant for Quill & Blade fans. We'd really appreciate it if you were actually a fan/reader if you're going to enter. We understand it is thrilling to have an OC in a story but if you're not into our work please considering giving those that are the opportunity.
Additionally, we would all appreciate it if those that do enter thumb up and favorite our work.
Finally, as with all cameo calls, poor sportsmanship will bar anyone from all future cameo calls.
How to enter?
What about previous cameos?
We finish cameos when it makes sense for the story. We'll get to them all in time for sure. Some cameos, such as the ones in unreleased stories, will take longer than others.
What is this art thing? How do I get in on that?

It's the most thought I put into an OC in sometime, makes me want to write about him now.

Alright, I'm back at home, and I've entered. I thought I'd try a different OC this time and see if this one is more lucky. He'd probably fit the storylines better anyways (more reason to be in Canterlot).
