Some info on the sizes of the important Dragons · 6:41pm Oct 11th, 2015
I realise things might be a little confusing at times on how big Deathwing for example is in the story. So I thought you might like knowing the sizes that I use in the story.
Before I started writing the story I went full nerd and scoured the internet for the size of our main guy. Deathwing. Unsurprisingly it was very different from site to site what his accurate lenght, wingspan and height actually was.
That picture is one released by Blizzard so it gives a pretty accurate estimate via the amount of pixels = so and so many feet as X pixels is an average man according to the picture. From that information some people have given the following estimates which I have then followed and used in the story as best as I have been able.
Deathwing/Neltharion has a wingspan on around 1200 feet(365 meters), he is 354 feet long(108 meters) and has a height of 91 feet(28 meters)
In numbers this might not seem like that much. That is why there's a picture for comparisson.
Now there's Valissa, the dragon Queen. I though you guys might like getting some sizes on her as well. So I created the following sizes for her before I made the story. These are also the sizes being used. Valissa has a wingspan of 1000 feet(307 meters), she is 308 feet long(94 meters) and has a height of 75 feet(23 meters)
And there you have it. I realise these estimates might not be accurate on Deathwing/Neltharion but Blizzard never actually gave an official estimate. The only official info we have gotten is that he is "airliner big" and that he has a 1200 feet wingspan.
It might take a while on the next chapter as I have a lot of homework and am going to London this tuesday(getting back saturday). But will try and make it more than 1 chapter a month from now on because that is simply not good enough on my part.

On tv tropes it is said that Deathwing may be 108 meters at least. If you make the count a la Dangeon and Dragons then Deathwing may be 600 feet tall (182 meters long/tall). IMHO I prefer him being that tall, because dragons deserve to be big. But then again, given how small the ponies are, maybe 108 meters is enough.
Funny enough Godzilla would be bigger then everyone in this story still.
