I am here to report that I have seen Crusaders of the Lost Mark.
I am also here to report that I genuinely feel like a piece of shit for my kneejerk thoughts about Diamond Tiara and taking my frustrations out on her in EWM. Because now, we know without a doubt that she never deserved that kind of treatment. My regret for running her through the ringer now stems from more than just backlash from concerned readers.
So I am here to tell you that I will give her a larger role in Season 3 of EWM than I originally intended. She deserves that much.

Yay! I was kinda sad when I saw that such a small and (mostly, now that whats-his-face got to her) innocent young filly be used like that. This is a story about redemption....
Now all we need is Blueblood to get a 'redemption' episode. Then maybe he won't be such a low hanging fruit for easy antagonist.
I have seen many people saying they didn't like the CMCs cutie marks and my thoughts then are "well at least LordSiravant is going to like them because they are so similar to the cutie marks he gave them" so yes I am happy I was correct.
And you are totally right, this episode was awesome.
I think they handled it well, not perfect but most villains the have been redeemed have always felt a bit rushed so I mostly focus on how they chose to be good not how quickly they become good, and that is why I think this is one of the best redemptions because you can basically put diamond tiara in babs seeds boots (most of her song proves that) only babs is being pressured by diamond tiara and silver spoon, while diamond tiara is pressured by her on MOM. (I am totally ok if you turn her to a monster)
I can talk forever here so I am going to stop.
Anyway glad to see someone liking the episod as well because yesterday I only got blog post from people that dislike it really bad.

That's just it, though; Blueblood's only guilty of being a ponce, which is a normal attitude amongst, well, bluebloods. And to be fair, Rarity did basically try to force herself on him, which is something he is probably used to.
As far as redemption episodes go, I say we now need one for Queen Chrysalis, considering we saw one of her Changelings at Cranky and Matilda's wedding, likely there to harvest love energy like a bee harvests pollen from a flower. Why is it there? Why did they let it in there? These are questions I require an answer to.

Personally, I always subscribed to the idea that the way he acted at the gala was a way to deflect the pony version of gold diggers. I.e Ponies only interested in him because of wealth and or title. Which Rarity kind of was.
As for Chrysalis. My favorite depiction of 'villain chrysalis' is in 'Bad Monday' because she isn't a 'villain' she's an antagonist.

She still chose to be intentionally and horribly cruel to Scootaloo in flight to the finish, so ill will isn't completely unwarranted
I also believe that DT's redemption was horribly rushed; it really should have been a season long arc
3465391 I haven't forgotten about that, and it could have been nice to have a scen in the end where Diamond tiara and Silver spoon apologizes for everything they have done (especially that). Sadly 22 min is all the show have per episode,

I would have preferred one or two episodes where it's unclear whether she's going to be willing to be redeemed, but hopefully, there will be one or two missteps along the way where she falls back into old habits
I was actually thinking about how you would react to the shield part, could it be possible for you to recreate said scream and record it for us to hear?
