Spoilers ahead again.
Getting a lot of usage out of this DT image. 
It Just makes a good spoiler separator is all.
Before I start here, I should say that I loved the episode. It was a very good way to celebrate 5 years of MLP. It had the CMCs accomplishing something that was 5 years in the making.

Now then... at first I really did not like them. The colors seemed... off.
Looking at them again, the symbols themselves are in the three colors of each of the CMC's manes. I like this. But the borders... They're in that crimson that was used for the CMC's capes, I think, and it is so dark that it really makes them look stamped on.
The symbols make some kind of sense after looking at them, but at the same time, I feel that they aren't very descriptive of the CMCs and their talents. I can definitely follow the logic that went behind making them exactly how they are, but at the same time, the way they turned out ended up being a bit on the color clashing side.
Now that I've seen them a few times, they're starting to grow on me a bit. Who knows, maybe I'll like them after some time.
Now what does this mean for the CMCs? Well, I don't know if anypony else noticed the oddness of the scene where they got their marks, but the whole being wrapped in an energy field and then almost ascending to the heavens got me a bit worried, since most other ponies don't really get that kind of reaction when they get their marks.
I hope this gets used. Like the Mane 6 being connected, the CMCs are now connected. More directly even than the Mane 6. Maybe we have the makings of a strange set of powers that only 3 friends of bound destiny can unravel? I look forward to the fics.
