New Episode And Holy Shit Yes. · 2:23am Oct 11th, 2015

So, in terms of the new episode, I'm just going to copy what I said in someone else's blog about thee episode:

Honestly, I thought it was a great episode. The writers did something I never thought they'd ever do, and that's make me actually like Diamond Tiara. And I can't say I didn't see that ending come, but it was nice nonetheless.
I'm almost 100% certain a sizable number of people are going to dislike the episode because of the CMC getting their marks and Diamond Tiara's sudden and rapid character change, and I myself think it would've worked better as a season finale, but overall, I myself very much enjoyed it. Surprisingly, I didn't mind the insane amount of singing since they were all pretty good, and Diamond's Somepony Else scene was like the realest shit to ever exist in a show of magical talking horses.
I still want to punch Hasbro's collective face for making an Indiana Jones reference, though.

So, overall, 9/10.

Also, I finally managed to get my hands on a game I've wanted for a while now: Fallout 3.

I've played it for a couple of hours, and it's already amazing and infinitely superior to Skyrim. They captured the abandoned and empty atmosphere of a nuclear wasteland really well, and the V.A.T.S. feature is the absolute bomb. Much like the bomb in Megaton (Ba-dum CRASH). My one big issue with the game is that fact that your guns can fucking break and to repair them you either have to pay specific people a retarded expensive number of caps to repair like 44% of it or do something else that I don't know how to do yet. It's infuriating and difficult to get a gun back, but in the end, that's my only legitimate complaint.

Also, thanks to the Fat Man you get early on, I nuked a band of Brotherhood Outcasts and now I already have a Laser Rifle and Gatling Laser. Hell yes.

So that's me right now. Tell me: How was your day?

You can repair your guns but you need the same type of fire arm to do so. I know it can get infuriating at times when you weapon breaks down and there isn't the same type around to repair it. Start building up your strength to carry more items and find a common weapon that used by raiders and supper mutants. That way when you kill one of them you can take their weapons and repair what you have or, if they have a better weapon throw the one you have away or sell it and take the better one.

Weapons I liked where the Sniper Rifle and Chinese Assault Rifle. Energy weapons are fun to but don't really start showing up till later in the game.

I loved playing Fallout 3 and New Vegas and would love to play them again. Sadly I can't get these for my Xbox One or PS4 and I have Mac's so I can't play those games on my computer. I reserved a copy of Fallout 4 for Xbox One and was told that Fallout 3 came with it so I'm really excited. I hope Fallout 4 is really good. Not just the gameplay but the story as well. A game can have some the best graphics ever but if the sort sucks then there is no point in buying it.

3460202 See, all the guns that are easy to find and repair, with the exception of the Hunting Rifle, are complete and utter shit that live out their usefulness the second you run into Raiders. 10mm pistols, .32s, etc. Even the Assault Rifles aren't that great.

I'm talking about guns that are actually half decent, like the Sledgehammer. I'm not asking for an extra Gatling Laser or Laser Rifle or something, but how hard is it to find a Combat Shotgun? That's the only weapon I have that can allow me to dispatch Super Mutants, and it's got like 3 uses left in it. And if I can't find scavenge parts for my guns, is there at least a better way to get caps than fighting infinite Raiders and Feral Ghouls and hoping you get lucky?

Also, I have another problem with what happened after I got the game. The download and installation was a little painful since FO3 isn't optimized for the version of Windows the laptop I'm running it on has, and I purchased the GOTY edition, and so far none of the DLC is working. Not Mothership Zeta, not Broken Steel, nothing.

3460256 Ehhhhh :rainbowderp: ehe :pinkiecrazy: can't help you with the computer problems and DLC, sorry. As for the Combat Shotgun, if you find one of those early on, that's luck. I found those more often when I leveled up more and the enemies got tougher... also when I certain group starting coming after me if I was helping npc's out and had more good karma then bad. I also found dealing with enemies easier when you sneak up on them. But again, need to level up your sneak ability for this to become more effective.

3460344 I didn't find it immediately, but there was an easy AF Raider with one in the city ruins to the immediate right of Megaton. That area is also the place where I blew up the Outcasts and got a Gatling Laser.

By the way, am I correct in saying that there are only 108 Mini-Nukes throughout the entire game?

3460386 I just looked this up in The Fallout Wiki http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Mini_nuke_(Fallout_3) . According to the site there is about 98 total with the DLC's. I don't know how up to date the wiki is so there could be more. As for the Outcasts, I wouldn't recommend killing those guys, mainly because you can turn in item to them at their main base at Fort Independence and you can either get medical supplies like rad away and stim packs or 5.56 ammo. At the same time if you run into trouble and see them just run towards them and they'll see the threat and fight it. Very useful if you run into a group of supper mutants or "shudder" a death claw. Also, once you get the DLC to work they're part of the Operation: Anchorage DLC so it might be a good idea to not make the Outcasts your enemies.

3460442 See, my issue with that is that I fucking hate the Outcasts.

3460451 Oh :derpyderp1: well in that case kill as many as you want :pinkiecrazy:

3460491 Well, I'm not going to murder them all. Mini-nukes are pretty valuable. And besides, I don't indiscriminately murder, I guess. I mean, if a Raider starts running away from me, I'll let him live.

3460442 I got the DLC working. All I needed to do was go to "Data Files" in the pre-launch screen and check off all the DLC files.
