Alicorn Twilight Sparkle was something that took me time to get over and accept. Admittedly I came to accept the character two years after she first appeared and even now I still have my reservations on using the character, I still dislike her to some extent, this manifests into my inability to even watch Magical Mystery Tour, but this isn't about that...
This episode might as well be my newest hate. I'm happy they got their cutie marks but I'm not happy. It's an irrational dislike for the idea, the episodes placement I feel is wrong and I just see so much wrong with the episode that gives me no reason to dislike it, I'll say again I am happy they got their cutie marks, I am proud they did, but I dislike the episode, not for its story (it's one of S5's best) but for reasons everyone is going to kill me and criticize me for.
I don't like the design of their cutie marks, they are ugly and aren't as creative, but they are new. They look out of place and wrong where they are, compared to their merchandise designs. This isn't me being upset there is change, change is good. I feel this episode would have better served as the last episode of the show.
It was good to see Diamond Tiaras mother, who is possible one of the worst characters on the show, and Diamond Tiara getting redeemed was pretty cool.
Also I didn't even finish the episode, I got up to the cute-ceañera then stopped watching it in what I believe was pure rage. I was even saying at some points in the episode "No, no, I don't like this, I. Do. Not. Like. This". I even said to a friend of mine: "No, I'm drawing the line, I will not accept this."
So... yeah... I didn't like it.

Applebloom, the apple is just she is apple I guess, the heart now that means something what exactly I have no idea
Scootaloo, the Bolt feels like it has something to do with rainbow dash being her "sister" but the wing I guess is her overcoming her lack of flight?
