Para Talks: MLP Fim Season 5 Episode 18: Crusaders of the Lost Mark. (lots of Spoilers)

This episode. . .

It begins with the Crusaders in a meeting, but they are out of ideas.

Wait. . we get a song already?! We haven't even had the opening theme!

Pip shows up and asks the CMC to help him run for Student Pony President.

The CMC agree.

We go to the school and the Crusaders begin helping Pip out and. . . HOLY COW SONG 2?!

I have to say, both songs were great.

Anyways, Silver Spoon is yelled at for revealing a secret. Then is told not to speak part-way through the song.

This causes Applebloom to tell the ponies that if that is how Diamond treats her friends, the she's voting for Pip.

We get the votes tallied, and only one vote went to Diamond. Her own vote.

Diamond asks why Silver Spoon didn't vote for her. . and man. . .

Silver explains that she tried to help and then is told not to speak. She says she knows how Diamond could've won, but she isn't allowed to speak.

Then, after Diamond runs off, Silver looks around and says: "What? I don't have to follow her drama anymore."

I have no words except YES!

I've been waiting so long for Silver to just quit.

Applebloom feels bad for Diamond and decides to follow her. And we meet a pony I did not expect to see: Diamond's mom. I believe her name is Spoiled Rich.

After Spoiled leaves, Diamond breaks into a song. Wait, 3 of them now? This is a musical.

Wait. . .musicals in this show usually revolve around something big. . . could it be? Is this the episode where the crusaders finally get their marks?!

Anyway, back to the song. .

I think this is my personal favorite of the episode.

The Crusaders ask Diamond to come to the clubhouse to hang out.

Diamond decides to.

We then get a surprising line from Diamond and. .

Lemme stop right here.

ALL THE DIAMOND CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT! I LUV IT!

Continuing. . .

Instead of picking on the Crusaders, Diamond says they are lucky. She says that they are lucky they get to explore their options. Learn who they really are before being stuck with something they don't understand.

Is it alright that I have a tear in my eye now?

Anyway, the moment is lost when Diamond tries to deny that she doesn't have any problems.

Applebloom asks if she is sure.

We then get the No 1 strangest face of the entire show, curtesy of Diamond.

Pip shows up and explains that his request was denied by the school board.

Diamond sees this as an opportunity to be re-instated as student pony president, and follows Pip.

The Crusaders follow after her.

We then get a FOURTH song as Diamond runs across Ponyville.

I knew it. It's a musical. Something big is gonna happen.

Am I really ready for this arc to end?

The song ends, and Diamond reaches the school, saying she has an announcement.

The Crusaders grow worried.

The Crusaders urge Diamond to think about the choice she's making, and then Spoiled walks out of the schoolhouse.

Spoiled criticizes Diamond and then tells Diamond to follow her.

Diamond says no. She then says that she wants something more then what her mother taught her. She wants friends. She also manages to burn her mother, earning a well placed gasp from the school ponies.

Spoiled recovers and tells Diamond to step away from the Crusaders, calling them 'blank flanks'.

Diamond tells her mother that they are the 'Cutie Mark Crusaders'. And that they are her friends. .

Oh. . more feels. . .hold on. .

Diamond continues by telling her mom not to call them such mean names, as they are working harder to get their cutie marks then anypony she had ever seen.

Diamond. . please. . .stop. . . I don't know how much more I can handle. . .

Diamond garuntees that the Crusaders marks will be amazing. Then she tells her mother to deliver a piece of paper to her father.

Diamond reveals that the paper was a request for her father to donate money for the playground equipment.

We get a fifth song, and holy cow, I'm not used to this new Diamond.

Apparently, neither are the school ponies.

So, the playground starts being built, Twi makes a cameo because. .

Anyway, song ends.

We see the new playground. (it's so awesome)

Then Applebloom says that she liked helping others find their talents. Sweetie says it's nice, and she would keep doing it. Scootaloo doesn't care if she gets her mark (surprise) as long as she's with her friends.

Oh. . here it comes. .

Applebloom asks the girls if they wanna just focus on helping others find their talents. They say yes, and hoof bump. We get sparks and the girls float up into the air.

IM NOT READY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They come back down to the ground and notice that everypony is staring at them. They wonder why and Diamond says. . .

"Your Cutie Marks, they're amazing!"

True enough, they have their marks.

We get a sixth song. . .SIXTH! Oh wait, this is just a reprise. . carry on. .

Applejack tells Applebloom that if their mom and dad were here, they'd be so proud. I see Big Mac got some liquid pride.

Applejack, you aren't suppose to mention your parents. .

IM BALLING NOW!

Rainbow shows up and says how proud she is of Scootaloo. .

Rarity also showers praise on Sweetie Belle.

We then get Aj, Rainbow, and Rarity singing for the crusaders.

Pinkie is planning the biggest cutecinera yet.

And the song ends with Photo Finish taking a photo and Spike sends it to Celestia and Luna.

End Episode. . .

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have too much feels. . . I. . .I can't even score this episode. . .
