It pains me to besmirch classical art so, even with a simple censor box, but just do a search for: Truth Coming Out of Her Well to Shame Mankind by Jean-Léon Gérôme for real deal.

What might be the best facial expression I've ever seen behind the cut.
I mean, wow, is that a far cry from the serene, knowing smile most such anthropomorphic personification's get saddled with.
Apparently its based on a saying of the philosopher Democritus, turned on its head: 'The Truth lies at the bottom of a well.' Except in this case Truth wasn't quite dead and drowned, and is now instead back.
And Truth? She is one pissed off Lady out for revengeance. 
"YOU DID WHAT WITH A WHAT? USING A WHOLE BOTTLE OF MUSTARD?! THAT'S IT; YOU ALL GET THE WHIP!"
Seriously, how is this glorious thing not more well-known then it is? 
Classical art is NSFW now? What's next, will they card you before letting you into the art museum?
My favourite is Tuna Fishing, personally. Standing in front of that thing is like getting kicked in the head, it's that intense.
