I still haven't settled on some silly smut story to take the place of Boy Stuff, in that tormented part of my brain that compulsively churns out exquisitely described porn of pony children. But my Coltaloo story currently in er... "testing" is getting kind of long, so I'll just start posting what I have here, instead of only on Freenet and other places. I think 12 chapters is enough evidence, to stop prevaricating on whether a story is going to go anywhere. Hopefully I'll get a really cool idea what to do with it from there. It's still not a very polished effort though, mostly just more of that flailing around, endlessly trying to find the concept that really takes hold.
But I have to admit, a concept did take hold of me. A concept grabbed my attention, really took hold, filled me with inspiration, and poured out many pages of gloriously smutty dramatic literature. But it's such a horrible, horrible concept; it's probably the most disturbing thing I've ever written. I look at this thing and say "What is wrong with me?" and I don't even say that when I'm writing about the CMC orchestrating a gangbang that gets the all the little kids in Ponyville knocked up. I don't even say that when Sweetie Belle possesses herself with a crazy male human, who accidentally forces her to masturbate, not even knowing Sweetie Belle is there ghosting the whole thing.
So, I'll probably just stick with the nice, casual, un-horrifying, safe Coltaloo story instead. Until I really feel like inflicting this awesomely disturbing thing on you all. Ugh, Pokey you asshole...
What is right with you?
I've actually been reading Coltaloo on your onion site, as well as a few of your other stories.
Was starting to wonder why they're not published here. I mean, as far as clop goes, they're pretty tame.
How many chapters of the story have you already prewritten? Also do you have a release schedule for the already finished chapters?

Tor or i2p is quicker for me, because it separates location from content, so lets me just point people at files on my computer, wherever it happens to be. I don't have to post it anywhere; it's just there. Less convenient for you perhaps, but it'll always have more up-to-date (and unfinished) stuff.
I got cut off from here for a while... found another way here, but it was also pretty slow and error prone. Found another way, so we'll see how well that holds out. I always end up heavily revising when posting here too, just from re-reading it and trying to make sure there aren't any glaring omissions, so that takes longer. Really what you find on Tor is very much in-progress, and Coltaloo in particular I think I recently added complete chapters in the middle of it trying to put the pieces together. And finally, I still wasn't confident Coltaloo was a story worth publishing, and just gave up being wishy-washy after I noticed I was 12 chapters into it. Straight to Belle I only allow a 3 chapter buffer, so it won't stop appearing here or anything.
Oh also I'd rather be writing and revising instead of trying to over think complicated ways of getting it published. It's so tempting to think "As long as it's written, I can always publish it sometime later."

"schedule" ehe. My strategy is that if I commit to publishing a story somewhere, if it has more than 3 chapters, I'll try to push one a week. Otherwise I push one chapter every time I draft a new one. I've got 13 chapters on Coltaloo so far, with one more written but not sure if it'd be 14 or if I need to write another chapter before it.
