Fast as lightning, sharp as a sword
Yes, I know I'm a tad late with this. Missed the stream. Caught it on YouTube, though.
I'm gonna skip all the comedy (and embarrassment) and get right to the point. This episode hit me a lot harder than I expected it to. I never had sisters, but I remember a time when I was a role model for my younger brother. Those days are over, and I never realized that until today. Mac's speech at the end was what got to me the most. I actually cried a little bit. 
All right, the tidbits:
It was great to once again see an old trope done in a unique way. The "crossdressing" episode, while not as overdone as the "jealousy" episode or the "framed" episode, is still seen fairly often. And in true DHX fashion, they put a new spin on it. Fun times. 
Mac wanting a little inclusion. I can definitely relate to that.
AJ going to Manehattan: continuity! 
Big Drag-intosh. I can already see the fanart coming in mountains . . . . .
He seemed to be a little to into it, too, didn't he? And that one old guy. Celestia help him . . . 
I will give "cousin Orchard Blossom" this much: he maintained character throughout (for the most part 
). Now that's the mark of an excellent actor! I'm surprised he didn't fool everyone by virtue of his speaking. "She" just wouldn't shut up! 
Overall, a pretty great episode, if a little painful in some points. The juggling, the singing, the rhyme. I laughed and cringed at the same time. But I enjoyed myself.
And it was more than enough to distract me from Rainbow Bitch and her Mini-Me.
Hmm . . . Mac dressed up as a woman to help her sister, but it backfired humiliatingly in their faces . . .
Hmm . . . yeah . . .
. . . . Eh, fuck 'em, we won! Yeah!

Big brother reporting in. Even though my sister is much closer to me in age than Big Mac and AB, and we don't really get on too well, this episode still gave me a lot of feels. Peter New was on top form for that closing speech. I now see Big Mac as a kind of ponified John Marston from Red Dead Redemption.
I kind of felt sorry for poor Sweetie Belle though. I mean, where's her male relative in drag?

It was all you that made that statement a big deal I was'nt trying to entice an arguement, but I sorta predicted you would talk about that. So some of the fault is weighed on me.

Also I am only miffed at Rainbow Dash. I can't be fully angry because she's giving someone with no real sister to speak of a chance to participate and win. And obvious Big Mac being able to smash through obstacles may have been good and sweet for Applebloom, but would have not only shattered Scootaloo's hero complex for Rainbow Dash, but also shatter another "sisterly" victory. It would feel a bit like a cheat due to Big Mac physical superiority to practically anyone who isn't Iron Will or possibly Bulk Biceps.
Plus she's ALWAYS been a brat, so it's not out of character
But yeah, the ending didn't get on my nerves as much as the beginning. When she was calling him out on the disguise before he threw the "and how are you two related again" card at her.
