Writing Progress 10/1 · 3:34am Oct 2nd, 2015
Okay, it's been a while. Well, not that long, but here we go. I have a few bullet points that I'll go through real quick, since I have ideas!
>I've narrowed down title choices for my NeonxOctavia fic in the works to three. Hopefully I'll have one by my next update.
>I've only gotten 1 more chapter finished, making for a total of 4 and just over 18,000 words. However, I've also gotten a brief summary of each chapter I want to do, and came out to 22 total chapters. This now means I can give a generalized percent of how much progress I have and how much I have to finish. See the "Project Stats" section down below for more details.
>I'm currently in a Psychological Research Methods class, and currently working on a paper called a Meta-Analysis; I'm supposed to find 3 to 5 articles on one subject and write a paper summarizing their findings. This is a lot more difficult than it sounds, I assure you, and I need to have all the articles picked out by next week; I have about 17, and need to narrow it down to very specific criteria. As such, progress will slow for a short while, but I've managed to keep it to about 900-1000 words a day otherwise.
>I have an idea I'm working on outside of pony fiction, a sort of gothic horror novel. I've been working on that, too, and have been introduced to a lovely thing called "Scrivener". I've only started using it about three weeks now, but I kind of like it. There's a video at the link if you want to know more, but since it's a writing tool, I kind of figured I'd post it here.
