Whoa... it has been a while

Well then, I figure it's high time I get underway with what's up.

To summarize, I haven't visited this place in a long time. Why is that? Because I kind of lost interest in doing MLP fanfiction. I remember when I did that Mare Do Well story that it was just bad. Looking back on it now, I can't help but laugh... and feel ashamed. I admit it.

Mare Do Well Meets Her Match is one fanfiction that I feel ashamed in making... for various reasons. One of the reasons being was that I didn't like the episode at all especially the ending being a Broken Aesop. It made me want to write a response to it. Too bad the execution was absolutely horrendous and bad. So many things wrong with it when I look at it now is just awful. That and I kind of made the Mane Six look rather bad. Maybe because I wanted to write an answer to it and it turned out not exactly how I wanted. If I were to turn back time, I would just redo it to make it a bit more tolerable. Honestly, I just don't want to. Now this story is there for all time to remind myself what I had done and a lesson I have learned... and that's to never write something like that ever again.

So I'm saying it here... I'm ready to start all over again. I'm going to give it another shot and in order for me to do that, I have to wipe away what I used to do and start fresh. Even as we speak, there are many authors here giving it their all and making good stories. I want to be like them but I want to do it in my own way.

Which is why I've decided to deviate into a series devoted to someone I'm working on. Yeah it is an OC but I want it to not only shape him but also shape the world he lives in. You can thank Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V for that with the idea of dimensional counterparts. That's right. It's one of Rob Stallion's counterparts. I have been cooking up this idea for a long time and I'm working hard as we speak on it. I already have one of them ready and the plans I have for it are huge. It's all a story but it revolves around him and his life as a student/duelist in the near-futuristic world of Equestria City. Think of it as like human world Equestria only with the Synchro Dimension stuff from Arc-V added. That's right. Crossover/AU of EqG with Yu-Gi-Oh!

I'll provide everything in a bit and I want to work on the first chapter of a series centering on his life and what he goes through in this city along with the many trials and tribulations that follow. I think I've said all I can but hey, I'm hyped.
