Snuff and sexualized torture porn make me uncomfortable. I know that 99 out of 100 of the people consuming, commissioning, and producing these works do so harmlessly to fulfill fantasies. I'm familiar with fetishes, and some of my own come dangerously close to overlapping with those I decry. I am not calling for censorship or shaming or anything. It just unnerves me that some humans (usually male, and usually through no fault of their own; our brains are weird) are turned on by extinguishing and tormenting life.

It's not the actual ending of life that I enjoy, otherwise my own conscience would have me sign into a psych ward somewhere to get some "help". However, in fiction, enough of my brain understands that this isn't real for the logic center in my brain to pass such an act as acceptable. I can then enjoy the strange wiring that derives pleasure from the observing of such an act. This is probably how vore works. While I often fantasize about being consumed and occasionally digested, I would still probably fight for my life if I ever found myself inside the mouth of anything.
