All I really want is something beautiful to say.
Ain’t that the truth? Why else do we talk so much?
Seriously, try to remember every word you said today. Or wrote. Or heard. Or read, including these. Can you do it? I doubt it.
Yet all those words were conveyed. They all held some kind of meaning, right? Why else would you say something?
All I really want is something beautiful to say.
What’s the alternative? Something clumsy, I suppose. Perhaps forgettable. We don’t want that, do we?
You gotta make it stick. Once you say something, it’s gone. Be it kindness or cruelty, it’s gone.
Did you make it memorable? Did you make it stick with somebody? Do you know that they’ll remember?
Do you even know if you really want them to?
I wish I had something beautiful to say here.
