Hey Everybrony! What's up?
Things have been going fairly well for me. My site was blocked a few days ago for creating and using a second account on FimFiction. Apparently the people on the site have a thing against giving people additional likes and follows using a separate account. I'm not going to defend or belittle my actions, I'm just content to move on and get back to my passion of writing (Virtually ignored) fanfiction about talking ponies and gushing about how adorable and cute they are.
However the issue itself was a wake up call for me because the admins on this site have brought an issue to my attention which I can ignore no longer. Apparently I have a problem with spamming people to get them to read my fics. I know that I can be a bit eager at times to self promote, but to hear it from someone else..... I think I have a problem. So what do you guys think? Am I a bit to overzealous in trying to get likes and such? And if so how would I go about changing an offensive habit like spamming? I don't mean to promote my work, I just like sharing, how do I draw the line between being open and talking about something I've written and spamming?
Anyhow onto less depressing news. Namely Today's episode! Though the plot was incredibly predictable it was in my opinion a great episode because we once again got a glimpse of Rarity in a different way. While last episode focused on her as a designer and fashion pony while covering what it means to be an artist versus a profiteer todays' episode focused less on the lesson and more on the wacky silliness that we love from the series. We got to see Rarity in a much different light as she solved a crime while wearing (in my opinion) great outfits and we also got to see a more silly side of her we don't normally see. It's this side of Rarity, the overly dramatic and silly, yet professional and mature side of her that originally made her such a gem to watch. No mater what episode it is Rarity's reactions (or over reactions) are always fun to watch. That's one of the reasons she's one of my best (if not for a certain princess taking her spot) ponies, she's always such an active character who puts a dash of style into everything she does, and her fitting into the cliché of a girly girl only makes it more entertaining when she acts predictably according to or completely defies that stereotype. In short another hundred points to Rarity for not only being a great detective but also pulling it off in Carmen San Diego Decor

And speaking of a dash of style, what was with Dash and Rarity today, I mean I know they're friends but Dash seemed a bit too excited in having Rarity watching her performance and hanging out with her. Rari-Dash shippers activate! Anyhow sorry for the long message and please feel free to tell me if i'm acting a bit spamish. The last thing I would want to do is annoy the friends I've made on this site!

And for your question, I'm not sure. If you spend every waking second telling people to check out your story, then maybe back off a little.
3405494 I'm trying to wean myself off telling people about it, but it's not like I was directly overt about it. 'Hey click this link and give me a like' is not what I did. It was more along the lines of mentioning how I was writing a story, never mentioning the details, just the fact that I was writing it.

I would have to say today's episode was rather good though a couple of people on FunnyJunk laughed at how rarity got the information the way she did, questioning the whole family friendly thing but my opinion on how she did it was rather well suited. After all rarity used her natural skills to get what she wanted. And yes the art of seduction is used but still far more family friendly than the art of intimidation, though both are used in interrogations one gets better results with out needing to call a lawyer.
