Hello everyone, I just felt I should give an announcement regarding what's happening right now. I'm sure some of you have noticed that I've spent a lot less time online over the pass few days, and for good reason. For those of you who don't know, I'm a full time student at college. This means I take roughly 4 classes every semester. I don't really work, because school is considered a job in a sense.
I'm telling you all this because it got much more complicated this semester. I don't want to turn this into a sob story or seek pity, but I had trouble last semester and I failed a few classes. This resulted in a backlog of work, and requiring me to do extra this fall. I am currently in 5 classes, and one of them is a required internship for my degree. This will leave me so little free time to myself.
I hate to do this, but I'm going to have to go on a three month hiatus. I have to remind myself that writing stories about ponies is not going to get me a successful job in life. I have to reassess my priorities, and FimFiction is near the bottom right now. I've given this a lot of thought over the past few days, and it wasn't an easy decision to make. I feel especially bad for doing this considering I recently submitted two new stories.
Over the next three months I won't be releasing any new chapters or stories. This means at around Christmas, when the semester ends, I'll have free time once more. Within this three month time period I may not release any work... but I may still write a bit if I have the time. It's possible that once my 'dark' period is over, a few chapters will be released.
I will be releasing this blog two other times, tagging my other stories. I really want people to see this, as I know some readers have asked me when the next chapter of a particular story will be released. I can't even begin to tell you how happy I am to actually have others call out to me, asking for another chapter. It really drives me to want to do more, and to keep these stories alive.
