So I bought a laptop again

Hey folks,
I live! Sorry for the long silence. I've been hard at work, and my primary internet device for the last few years has been my iPad. But, I've decided to get back into the laptopy ways because... well the iPad is a really passive way of consuming the internet. Glass screens don't really engender a lot of typing.
