Chapter 11 Status Update · 6:41pm Sep 14th, 2015
Right, so I know I'm already behind on this. If I were following my schedule, Chapter 11 would already be out (or be in editing and on its way to you by the end of the week). Unfortunately, this one's been particularly tricky, if not particularly long. I'm about 2/3 of the way done with the draft right now, hoping to finish tonight or tomorrow and kick it off to editing. I won't lie, there's been some procrastination involved, along with a lot of agonizing over how to handle a specific scene. Luckily that scene is finished, and the rest of it has been moving along since.
In summary, I'm not dead, and I really do apologize for the delay here. Wasteland Economics will continue soon!
In other news, I've been mulling this over lately, and I think I'll be updating my cover art. Enough critiques have been leveled at it that I feel it should be replaced, but I'd like to see what people here think, as well.
And in final news, Friday was my birthday, turning the ripe age of 28. I celebrated by taking the day off work and playing a ton of X-Wing miniatures (which by the way is such a fun game). But I also got a wonderful gift, too!
My sweetheart Tofu gave me this vector of Alloy, as well as commissioning PencilGuy for a NSFW thing, but I won't post that here. You can find it on PencilGuy's tumblr, which you should follow because he's a great artist.
And JetWave did a wonderful coloring of his earlier "Palloydin" sketch. I'll add it to this post when it goes up on his blog or dA. Totally blew me out of the water. Thanks again man!
