So, I'd posted the new chapter with an A and a B version of it, and left it up to vote for which one was better and would stay, and which one would be removed. I'd originally planned for the voting to go for 48 hours, but I closed it down because of how strongly people were leaning one way. That chapter remains up, while the other one is linked but not part of the story itself.
tl;dr things happened and there's a new chapter.
Personally, the A Path was a bit too... rapey.
Even though it was only more of a mention, just flatout saying such things regarding foal/child sexual abuse might have required the story's rating from Teen to Mature, you know? I mean, there's sexual humor, but that's a bit touchier/explicit a topic, even just to reference. I much prefer this story with it's teen rating anyhow.
I may have personally liked A better, but B is a close second.

makes sense though, the writing was much better. And the first just felt incredibly petty and overly cruel even for Sparks - at least at the stage she seems to be at.
