Changing Tastes

Is it odd that I very much prefer stories back from before...I probably wanna say the ending of Season 3?
Everything felt far more varied and creative, whereas - to me, at least - it feels like every story nowadays is a rehash of something done five years ago in some vain attempt to capture the same feeling, and it just falls flat.

The MLP Movie

It was great and had more world-building in sixty minutes than the show had in seven seasons.
I wish they'd used THIS to premier Friendship is Magic, because we'd have had so much more potential for stories than rehashing the same dozen plotlines over and over again

After the events of "Rarity takes Manehatten," Coco Pommel had to take up prostitution to make ends meet

Sassy Saddle, fresh from ruining yet another Boutique, finds her, learns about Rarity and heads to Canterlot, where she learns about Rarity wanting to open up another Boutique and applies for the job of overseeing it

When Rarity asks how Sassy found out about it, Sassy tells her about Coco's fate, which horrifies Rarity who insists Coco be hired to assist Sassy, who is reluctant to work with a prostitute
