It's easy to get a Pinkie to go with him. The new blind bags have little windows in them so you can (sorta) see the pony inside. The old ones (which are the only ones I'm still seeing in stores) have codes stamped in the bottom in foil.

The line with Cheese is Wave 11 (2014)--as I said, still in stores near me. My Target is waaaay behind. Pinkie is AB.
Wave 12 is the next line. Pinkie is AA, or Rainbow Powered Pinkie is AY. Next time you're in Walmart or Target, give it a try!
