Reinsburg on the "Official" Map of Equestria · 11:11pm Aug 3rd, 2012
So seems an official map of Equestria has been released by Hasbro.
It's one of those things that as a writer you kind of dread, fearing that the official map is going to totally destroy your ideas, I'm lucky in that I think I can safetly place Reinsburg and Saltlicktenstein on the "official" map without too much recourse.
So if you are wondering, Saltlicktenstein occupies the area above Los Pegasus, below the Unicorn Range and west of Ponyville. Reinsburg itself is built into the mountains east of Smoky Mountain.
If you're wondering why Prince Lazuli didn't travel by Railroad to reach Ponyville... well, he doesn't like the modern "inventions" and prefers to travel via the traditional means of carriage.
At least, that's how I see it in my head anyway.

I love how they had to put
"image not to scale" in the bottom left.
That's awesome! My first thought when I saw the map was "Oh dear, I know some fic writers who are going to be facepalming.
