I have chickens in my backyard.

No, you heard that right. I actually have chickens in my backyard.

No, I do not live on a farm. I live in a quiet -- with the exception of the occasional rooster -- neighborhood.

I also have pidgeons inside of a shed that freaking sh*t everywhere. I didn't like that shed anyways.

I wake up every morning to the sound of that rooster. And every afternoon, I stare outside the window to look at the baby chicks.

Oh, I also found a dead chicken in the shed one morning. We still don't know what caused its death. (Though, I'm guessing it fought another chicken to the death.)
