RLYoshi

I primarily make YouTube videos, but I like to write too. This is where my pony writing goes. Typically adventure or dark, lots of OCs, consistent updates not guaranteed, batteries not included.

    Do people care?

I'm starting to wonder if people even really care about the story I'm writing right now, Equinox Mission Logs. There've been no comments or feedback, and very few follows or even views (compared to my other stuff, anyway; twenty consistent people reading per chapter is still a decent amount from a neutral standpoint).

    I couldn't wait any longer.

I got too impatient waiting for September 1st. :derpytongue2:

New story goes up as soon as the publish queue gets to it, so in less than an hour.

    Long time no see

So, uh, you're still following me, huh? I'm a bit surprised, gonna be honest. I mean, my last update was... December, I think? And that was just asking what's up with the new genre tags. Last update before then was September. Been almost a year.

    So many new genre tags!

The last time I set up a story, we had... like, ten genres. Romance, Adventure, Slice of Life, Dark, Comedy, Random (you also basically needed the first if you had the second), Sad, Tragedy (once again, need the first if you have the second), Crossover, and Alternate Universe. And then Human was added a bit later before I kind of vanished.

Well, I think I've gone long enough without really updating anything. Time to tell you guys exactly what I have planned for my stories now.

First: while Restless in Hoofington and But We Can't Eat Meat! will be continued, their updates will be few and far between, as I will only be writing those when both Rhino and I are in the mood for them. No forcing it.

Second: the collab stories listed on my profile are still going to be updated when we actually write chapters for them, and more collab stories are being added over time. However, the updates for those hinges on the person who publishes them.

Third: all other stories on my profile are canned. They will not be continued. At most, I may in the future reboot them, but that's not something I'm even seriously considering at the moment.

Fourth: I'll have three new stories eventually coming out. Yeah, I know; history repeats itself. I say I'll do stories, they come out, and then they get cancelled. Will that happen for these? Well, while it's possible, let's just say it's a ton more unlikely. Two of the stories, both being collabs, will be more episodic, meaning I can easily take breaks in between every few chapters without leaving you guys hanging too much; whether each new series of chapters takes a week, a month, or half a year, it still won't really affect anything. The third story, which is solo, will be written in its entirety before I publish it, meaning I have no excuse whatsoever to cancel it.

Lastly: I am going to clarify something. I am not done writing, and I never will be, regardless of delays or inactivity on this website. I just lead a busy life right now, trying to work my YouTube channel into a career while doing some film work on the side, and the possibility of college looming. I love writing, and I don't plan to stop anytime soon. It's just I've grown less fond of my older stories over time, and now that I've had a chance to look back and correct everything I was doing wrong, I want to consider this a clean slate.

So if you actually pay attention to this profile... well, keep doing so. Stuff will be coming out eventually. I just need to work more on it in advance so I never have to cancel something due to suddenly disliking it again.
