For those of you still kicking around this place, yes, I still live. Thank you for hanging in there.
No the story is not forgotten.
Yes, I'm going to finish it.
Short version of what's been going on, in life you often get dragged away to handle other tasks and projects.
The good news is that I'm working to clear some of that up.
Please accept my apology for the long delay for the next chapter as it was never intended to have such a lengthy wait.
Stuff... just kept happening one after another. Nothing super bad, just incredibly distracting and frustrating.
I only hope the fans of the story will return to check on it once I get something going again. I do hate to lose people to inactivity and loss of interest. But in the end, the story is a hobby and life projects have priority.
That said, assuming my editor is still kicking about, I can get back into weaving this weird and wonderful story of multi-colored horses. Soon.

Glad to hear the story will continue though. I actually made my site account nearly three years ago so I could read this story after I came across a recommendation for it. Hard to believe it's been that long, but even so, I've never lost interest in reading a new chapter of TLtM.
I've been meaning to read this but the amount of chapters is just staggering, along with the fact that it's an OC x princess story, which makes me kinda weary.

I wouldn't fret over the number of chapters. Each one is easy to consume over lunch/dinner or before bed. Just look at it like this, if you enjoy the story/characters, then that just means there's a lot of time to spend with them.
As for OCxPrincess, believe me, I understand your hesitation. I've seen some pretty awful ones out there.
I gave it my best to present characters who grow and have flaws. It does start off a little rough until I refine their personalities.
Give it about 5 chapters. See if the story speaks to you.

Glad to hear from you, sometimes I assume the worst when a author "disappears" so to speak. Take your time man, real life always comes first.

This story is the reason I load FiMfiction every single day to check for updates. (Despite the last update to this story being in January). I'll go as far as saying it's my favourite written piece, ever!

3372500 Meh, I gave it a bit of a chance and i just find it to be weird in how it starts. It starts out at a very random place where the main character has a crush on princess Luna that goes unexplained until halfway through chapter two, and even then the vaguely explained reason for said crush is pretty shaky and unbelievable. All that aside I do want to give this story a chance, but it keeps making it harder and harder as I go on.
I am waiting patiently figure for the next chapter, i am planning on rereading the entire story because of how good it is. Just to let youknow this was one of the first stories i ever read on this site, keep up the good work, i am also using my phone to read the story and post comments when i think i need to.
