As some of you may or may not know, I recently upgraded my internet connection. I went from this:
To this:
As such, I'm finally able to do the awesome things that people with modern day internet connections can do, like download games in under 20 minutes and stream videos at a watchable quality! It's fun being in the present.
I've always wanted to do Twitch stuff and stream games, because A) it's fun and B) I like the idea of talking to people and being a sort of channel that people can come and relax in. I've neglected my Twitch channel for a while due to not having good enough internet, but that changes today!
You'll be able to find me here: http://www.twitch.tv/alexstrazsa2
I'm going to start streaming semi-regularly (with facecam! and overlays!), with games like Diablo 3, League of Legends, and Hearthstone, but I'm open to suggestions on stuff to play. Stop by when you get a chance, say hello, maybe even follow me. I'll do my best to be fun.
Optimum's faster than Verizon, huh.Good to know.
Are you gonna stay on twitch mostly or are you gonna try your hand at youtube gaming?
4MB/s? That's actually fast compared to what I normally deal with! Try having an average download speed of 20kb/s.

Most likely just Twitch. I'm really not a fan of YouTube's Content ID and policies. If I was reading correctly, you can literally get a copyright strike if you have copyrighted music playing on your stream, and that's just not something I want to have to work around. With Twitch, the worst that happens is they mute your VODs.

Yikes.
How much is your internet costing you now?

$50 a month, up from $0 because I was literally so fed up with the connection that my parents have that I bought a whole separate one.
