    Some major personal updates

I'll get right to the point: I got a new job! :pinkiehappy:

While I enjoyed my previous work, it was mostly thoughtless data entry and wasn't even close to full-time. I have clawed my way out of the welfare trap.

Progress Report #2, and a Question

Question first: Does anybody know what happened to Swift Blade Productions? I could've sworn when I trailed off that they were a rising audio reading channel. Now I can't even find them on YouTube. :rainbowderp:

    Merry Christmas and Happy Holliday

I wish there was more I could say that I haven't said fifty times previously. I miss this place and wish I could be back to work on here. I hope you're all well.

    Howdy, all!

I'm curious if anyone has plans for this Hallow's Eve. I don't have much worked out for it yet myself.

First Major Roomie Issue and Video Plans · 6:06pm Aug 30th, 2015

Today and yesterday have mostly been off days, so I'm enjoying the extra time I have to review some of the things we've gone over in some of the classes as well as running errands and other matters.

:facehoof: Yesterday, I was horrified to find that my roomies, both underage, had very well stocked out common refrigerator with Keystone Light. I was able to politely yet firmly persuade them to store it someplace where I could not be implicated of its possession. I don't know where they put it, and I don't care, for it is not anywhere near my stuff, and I assume they took my advice and either disposed of it or kept it in the care of someone who is legally allowed to have it. I don't care so much if they do drink, for that is none of my business, but when it poses a potential threat toward my receiving the education and opportunities I have desperately and diligently worked toward, it does become my business. It appears that they have understood that, and I am glad. Additionally, they do not seem to resent me for my concerns, and I don't expect any more to come of this matter.

 Also yesterday, I got to go out to eat with my uncle Dave and his girlfriend, Jameson. We dined at a restaurant called "Armstrong's," an Italian place with a huge number of options and surprisingly fast seating for such an authentic place. I got a calzone with cheese, pepperoni, onions, salami, ham, and some sauce. I only ate about half of it, and I was done eating for the rest of the day. Afterward, we visited Kmart, where I got a wired mouse for this laptop, a binder for my STAT class, and a toilet brush.

:twilightsheepish:Of course, most of my day yesterday was sedentary; I have been working on my video compilation of my favorite quotes from the readings I've done from others' works I've audio read. :rainbowdetermined2: It is a slow process, but my progress is pretty good. Having all the quotes selected, marked for where they appear in the videos, and ordered for when they should appear in the videos, I can now start putting together in Audacity the tracks containing the quotes. I hope that, later on today, I will actually be able to record myself introducing the video, but I'm not going to do this until the audio compiling is finished. Then, I'll simply need to place the tracks into the video and give slides containing the text of what is being said by whom in the audio, accompanied by a story and author credit.

:moustache: I was running out of cereal options, so today I headed to the store Kuhn's in order to purchase something suitable. They didn't have the cereal I like, so I got a bunch of Pop Tarts. Considering that I eat about 400 calories of cereal in the morning along with my vitamins and milk, two toaster pastries should just as easily cover me calorically, and the fiber loss I can make up for by eating apples and celery, which I do fairly regularly in the first place.
Survival.

There's so much more I could talk about, but I just want to keep working. Once I'm done with this project, I can finally get moving on to some requests sent my way. :trixieshiftright:

Thanks, ShadowKirby. The road is always bumpy, but for the most part, things truly have been going well for me.
