I'm finally taking the plunge...

I'm posting a piece of work on the internet. This is pretty much the first time since school that I've shown anything - writing, music, or programming - to anyone but close family. The LUNA Project is something I whipped up the first chapter of just tonight on a sudden inspiration, and science fiction isn't really my thing, but damned if I didn't pass the two thousand word mark already. I've been wanting to put up some of the ideas that have been bouncing around in my head for longer, but I keep going back and fussing over the words I already have instead of writing new ones, and it never gets done. So here goes nothing.
