Six Shadows to Warn You

EDIT: The fic as a whole has been bumped up to "Mature" now. Mainly because of Zalla's chapter "You Promised", I bet. The other five stories are "Teen" at the worst. So if you're one of those people who doesn't like M-rated ponyfics, you can skip that chapter and be fine. /EDIT

I did another collaboration. Some guy approached me out of the blue and asked if I wanted to write a story for a pony horror anthology, and I said "Sure, why not?"

And I found a way to tie this into my Alarm Clock verse. If you recall, in Beauty Will Tear Us Apart, Twilight showed off a spell that blocked ambient magic leakage. "Twilight Sparkle and the Strange Case of Old Res" is the story of how Twi learned that spell, and how the spell's original creator came to an unpleasant end.

I'm not sure how much "horror" came through in the finished product. It's the darkest thing I've written for Fimfic yet ... but it isn't that much darker, really. I don't have the heart or stomach to write a Stephen King-level story, especially not with ponies. Still, I'm happy with how it turned out.

Also, I can vouch that Kuroi Tsubasa Tenshi's story in the anthology is a good read. (His is the only other story I've read yet.)
