The Friendship Games Sneak Peek · 4:11pm Aug 29th, 2015
So, today Discovery Family ran about 10 minutes of the movie, including one song.
Excitement is increasing!
Also, going by the promos for the movie that began running today, it looks like the DFC premiere of Friendship Games will be in the evening on the 26th, not in the morning.
No new shorts were premiered during the Sneak Peek. but Short #5 was posted to the MLP Facebook page today. You can watch it on EqD or check it out in the comments below.
EDIT: The Guardians of the Galaxy premiere is at 9:30pm Eastern on Disney XD on September 26th, so Friendship Games will be over well before then. Yay!

3355954 I think Luna's taking a nice turn in Friendship Games, especially if the shorts are any indication. Her reaction to Photo Finish is possibly the funniest Luna moment ever.

Ok, couple of thoughts here. One, is Tree Hugger a dude in the EQG universe?
Two, other than "Science of Magic" and "Pinkie Spy" I haven't enjoyed most of these shorts so far. They just seem like they aren't really trying very hard. Flash especially seemed like even more of a cardboard cutout "cool kid" than he already is.
I hope they do better with the actual film, but I think I'm going to have the same experience as I did with the first two; several enjoyable bits all the while I scratch my head and wonder "why did they have to make them humans again?"
