Oh my God.
So, I'm catching up with a lot of Steven Universe episodes and just...the feels in this one man. This is the most recent cartoon that's ever gotten me this close to crying since Ash released Butterfree in Pokemon, or when Cell killed Android 16 in Dragonball Z. Pretty much every line Pearl speaks in this episode has so much emotion put into it, especially near the end where she's this grief-stricken when she's reminded how much she misses Rose. And that one point where Pearl had just left and Steven was asking Garnet if Pearl was going to be okay, only followed by silence from her.
When some of you told me that a few of the later episodes can get pretty feelsy compared to the earlier ones, I think I'm getting what you were talking about. Amethyst may still be my favorite Gem, but I can still REALLY feel for Pearl after seeing this episode.
