Well, for anyone who cares, The Wayfarers turns a year old today. I regret that I haven't put out more content for it within the time since it conception. Between college and the creative rut I fell in, it's sad to say that writing almost become a hassle for me.
However, a good amount of things have changed since then and now. I've found a drive and love for writing that I didn't quite have when I started the story. Perhaps the shit I went through during my first year of college really helped set a lot of things into perspective. I'm not saying that I'm going to be updating every other week or some shit like that. What I am saying is that I have began to see what it is that I want to write about, and what I want to get out of it (if that even makes sense). The Wayfarers is my way of trying to grow as a writer, to see where it is that I am going.
So with that bullshit said, here is my birthday gift: I'm going to strive to keep myself motivated and driven to keep writing without burning myself out, and to stay as consistent as I possibly can (which means shooting to update once every month).
The next chapter is primed and ready to go, and I'm almost three chapters ahead of the current chapter. I feel pretty good about that.
Anyway, thanks to anyone who checks up on the story and also to anyone who took the time to read this. I don't see myself creating a long blog like this one again for a while, at least. Have a good day and stay safe.
