    Author update!

I'm editing stuff! But also incredibly dried out of writing power atm. I'll get going again soon, but just bear with me for a bit. I'm publishing a chapter of XCOM today, then start on the daily writing (not publishing) again tomorrow morning. In the meantime, always remember:

    Remembering Koji Wada

Like every year, I like to remember the man/legend responsible for the theme songs of one of my favorite shows of all time on the anniversary of his death.

So if you were wondering about the timing for the latest Isekai chapters? There you go.

    Welp, here's a life update

These last couple of weeks have been a bit of a rollercoaster. Good things have happened, and also bad ones. No wonder I could relate to both Furina and Navia in the latest Isekai chapter. Sometimes pretending things are fine is really exhausting, even if they do get better.

    Welp, another year older and...

...still writing ponies. (Among other things, granted.)

Update to the Isekai coming tonight! And some additional details and change of plans.

First, to everyone waiting patiently for the next Isekai chapter, I apologize for the delay. I know there are a lot of people that want to see another visit to Hell happen soon, and it will, I promise. However, due to some circumstances, I decided for a different pair of visitors to visit the bar this week.

"The Sweetie Chronicles" Sweetie Belle appeared in your fic?

Wonder where that story came from.

Hope that it's a fairly lighthearted one so she can get a bit of a breather.

Not that I have any fics, but you know, hypothetically speaking.

I'd squeak happily but wonder how she wound up there given that I write mostly one-shots.

The thought it's nice D; but why do you ask?:twilightblush:

~Leonzilla

I would say may god help her traverse around the badly written monstrosity that makes them up. If you could actually make a good chapter out of my fanfics then sir, I applaud you and will give you 3 1/3 cookies.

3337919 I'm just curious to see what people would do.

Have a blast figuring out how her presence would influence things, haha.

3337923 Alright but just to clarify, are you asking if you decided to accept somebodies fic into your story or if somehow magically Sweetie Belle from TSC appeared somewhere in their fics?:twilightsheepish:

~Leonzilla

Well, I write a lot of them, so it'd depend on which she stumbled into, but given my usual subject matter, it's a good bet that she'd be doing something involving Discord.

if somehow magically Sweetie Belle from TSC appeared somewhere in their fics?

That one, basically XD

Be thrilled that Senpai noticed me.
That #BestFicEver hashtag

I would both shit my ass and be shockingly honored! lol

Considering TSC is more interesting and better written than a large percentage of the actual published books that I've read, pretty ecstatic. I don't have a fanfic though, since the two i attempted to write back in high school were travesties.

Depends on the fic. Harmony Theory would be a disaster all-round, and depending on who she ran into she might not survive the experience. I don't think it would make a good story. The Fallen World stories would probably be a decent fit. Heck, Sweetie's life is a twisted nightmare already, she'd probably feel at home. This one could go places. Lavender Unicorn Syndrome? Well, that could go either way. It'd probably be an entertaining read, at least.

Depends 100% WHEN she appeared in my fic!!!

Honestly, if she were to try making an appearance in the fundamental narrative itself, I'd try to give her the hook as quickly as possible. TSC has always stuck me as a celebratory kind of thing, where Sweetie Belle should have no proper influence over the events of the story she's jumping into. I've always figured TSC to be a collection of "connected" side stories independent of the main stories it's crossing over with. If TSC's Sweetie Belle were to appear in a story of mine, I wouldn't make her a part of the actual story (barring some exceptions).

If I can make it work in-universe in away that makes sense, and in a way that doesn't step all over the main story or really even interact with it, then I wouldn't mind a little TSC spin-off.

Report that somebody had hacked into my account and was changing my stories. :trixieshiftright:

Turn out the lights.

If TSC Sweetie were ever to end up in Sharing the Night, I suppose it'd go something like this:

:unsuresweetie: Oh good, the only drama happening here is personal.
:unsuresweetie: Hey, randomly alicorn Twilight! I'm a dimensional traveler here on a quest!
 Welcome! It's nice having something happen that isn't related to my fucked up immortaiity.
 What did you need?
:unsuresweetie: I'm looking for a shattered piece of you! It should be about ye big and feel like your magic.
:twilightoops: Um.
:unsuresweetie: What? It should be within about two days' travel.
:twilightoops: Yeah, uh, that doesn't really narrow it down much…
:unsuresweetie: Narrow it down? What else could possibly fit that description?
:facehoof: Every star in the sky?
:facehoof: Also, the ones buried in the ground.
:facehoof: Can't really discount the ones in ponies either, now that I think about it.
:facehoof: How are you at fighting starbeasts?
:unsuresweetie: …

I'd figure I should finally get around to reading "The Sweetie Chronicles." :twilightblush:

Probably hug her and cry since my protagonist is an empath.

Wing it and hope to god it works.

~Skeeter The Lurker

Never read it, but I think my oc's would be willing to work with her. They're pretty chill as long as you don't personally threaten the Temple.

Probably hope she doesn't die while she's there. It's going around in my fics like the plague or something.

Be happy with the fact that she's clearly a Twiluna shipper as well?

Now that I think about it, I really need to publish something that doesn't evolve/devolve into Twilight and Luna makeout sessions...

Depends on the story, doesn't it?

Pony Dreams: Luna and Twilight would probably think she's part of the communal dream they're slogging through to rescue Celestia. Could be fun throwing a third mind into the mix.

Twilight's Monster: She'd be in for another culture shock, but she's pretty pro at those by now. Lucky for Sweetie she'd a unicorn. Twilight would have a dickens of a time helping her find the shard from inside the Solar Council's jail cells.

We Two Queens: She'd have fun playing with a juvenile changeling Queen her own effective age.

I would be thrown through a loop since I don't have a story. It would end up probably along the lines of "The Bear that Wasn't" by Frank Tashlin
Edit: Chuck Jones did the animation but it was based off of the book by Frank Tashlin

It would certainly be very, very... odd.

But well, considering my story is still in its beginning phase, nothing much.

My other soon-to-published fic, though... wonder what Sweetie's reaction would be when seeing her adopted big brother is the head of some secret paramilitary organization.

Edit: Oh, and report site mods that someone has been hacking my account.

Now that I think about it, I really need to publish something that doesn't evolve/devolve into Twilight and Luna makeout sessions...

Replace "Luna" with "Applejack" and those are my feelings you've written there. Then I shrug and write more ponies kissing. Ship on, fellow shipper.

In the one story published on my account? That would be hilarious, considering...

Probably not a lot, she'd have no reason to get involved in the action in either of my stories as far as I can tell.

Damn it WandererD you've inspired me, even if only briefly.

I apologize for the apparent wall of text.

Depends which one. But if we go with the one I'm currently working on:

Sweetie would come to find both her sister and the other elements off partaking in a nationwide manhunt for 'The Element Thieves'. A duo that somehow during Princess Twilight coronation celebration, broke into one of the most secure vaults that temporary housed the elements while she was in Canterlot.

So getting a feeling that a shard is in the somewhere west, she heads out that way. When she comes to the city of Van Hoofer she finds the shard to be coming from a warehouse, however upon entering said building, she comes across a three way battle between the royal guard, a band of mercenaries, and 'The Element Thieves'. The thieves being a human mage and Pegasus bounty hunter. During the battle, the elements are discovered, which included with them is a shard! But the shard is taken by a FIFTH party that swoops in and absconds with it. 'The Element Thieves' make their escape, and Sweetie seeing a chance to either do good or avoid the ire of the other parties, follows after and corners the two. She kicks the mage's butt, but the merc proves to be a challenge for her. It after some heated words that the supposed thieves, claim innocence, and are trying to prove it by finding the real thieves.

Now I have not read beyond 'Backwards through the mirror part 1', so I can not say for sure how Sweetie would react to this. She would probably form a wary alliance, as both the objects they seek are together.

Mage: "What? We can't have her tag along! She's just a little kid!
Bounty Hunter: "A foal that kicked your rear a few moments ago and has a better fighting sense than you."

So after a cross country trip filled with close calls and wacky hijinx, they find where the fifth party took the elements, by following sweeties sense where the shard is. Unfortunately it leads them into a trap and they get captured, but using their combined skills, thanks to lessons learned on the journey, they escape and try to stop the real thief before they get away again. They don't but they dont get away with the goods. Unfortunately it turns out that the elements were never there, only the shard is what they found. The goods must have been split up and moved elsewhere. So with a heavy heart 'The Element Thieves' bid farewell to Sweetie, and they wish each other luck on their respective quests.

Well, several of the characters are familiar with inter-universal travel, so it wouldn't be much of a problem. She'd have to get used to being around advanced manatechnology, though.

I'd be very upset. She's still a child in many ways!

And I only have the one story.

Maybe if she joined Spike in searching for the brain bleach...

Begin eviction procedures?

Give her a warm bowl of soup and shoo her off as painlessly as possible with exactly zero new powers and/or magical items.

Or crush underfoot whatever shards of her psyche she happens to still have on hand by the time she gets there, I guess. And for the trouble, give her the ability to etch out spells in dragonfire runes, or to find and harness her mana ganglia, or to create and work with blessed paints, or to use her spirit to fight demons who've escaped the plane of the dead, or something else silly that she really doesn't need.

Considering one of my stories has a multi-dimensional setting with every MLP fic is it;s own universe...she'd fit right in.

I haven't written more than two intros, and my stories are crossovers that are altered universes by virtue of role and cast switching, so it probably wouldn't work out. However, the question is 'if she showed up' not if I collaborated with you on a story ;-) That being said, we could propose she showed up in any story we like since we could theoretically make any story our own.

I really like 'grand tour' stories like this. The worlds are all remarkably different from one another, and from what I assume Sweetie Bell knows as Cannon. Naturally, that being she was adopted by Rarity after her parents died and was mentored by Twilight until an accident sent her on a wild adventure... That said, I still haven't read the backwards through the looking glass arc because it didn't hold my interest, and knowing that it wasn't related to alice in wonderland didn't make it any more so.

I haven't read Asylum, but it was on the second or third page of the best/popular stories of all time and had more than 100,000 words. Its a horrific world where Sweetie Belle was lobotomized, and had her horn removed, based on the tropes page. I could take this concept and make it my own, and propose if Sweetie Belle showed up without replacing her double she could cause a lot of pain... if she quantum leaped she could cause even more. I don't know if I could do anything more on my end than watch this train-wreck happen.

But, if you want a suggestion for crossover with something more than 100,000 words there is always The Moon's Apprentice. Wherein Twilight Sparkle and Sunset Shimmer are not only the same pony, but mother and daughter, in a world where Celestia chose Trixie as her apprentice because she believed Twilight couldn't learn conscious control of her magic in time for Luna's return... And, I've spoiled nothing and revealed everything at the same time.

Of course, there is also the parody universes of the mentally advanced series and friendship is witchcraft which would make nice april fool's fics, but could also be fun on their own if done right.

Die of embarrassment the reason why all my fics are offline :L

Probably nothing too spectacular just a lot of world building since my "universe" shares very little with the canon MLP because i hate using established characters and only use them sparingly

Scream like a fangirl, with an undignified and high-pitched cry of joy. Then, depending of where she appears (I have only one shots at the moment) see if she can somehow fit in the existing narrative. And cause I am a big softie, see if she can get a few moments to gather her wits.

So, if she appeared in "The Marching Madness" she would probably land somewhere around the Stairway, meet some travelers along the climb and learn a bit of shaping chaos through music.

If she appeared in the soon to be published "Harissa" (insert more shamless self-promotion), she would land somewhere in the middle of the war, meet Zecora or her daughter, and learn Taleweaving magic.

If she were to show up in Tastes Like Heresy, I would be rather confused at what she was doing hundreds of years in the past in the Kingdom of Unicornia, especially since it's in a timeline where Hearth's Warming went wrong and all three tribes went their separate ways. Then I'd tell myself to shut up and stop asking the wrong questions and appreciate the awesomeness of the situation. I'd make her ask herself if, in a universe too low in harmony for alicorns to manifest, it's worth destabilizing the day-night cycle of a world in order to pluck a piece of her mentor from the Unicorn King's crown. One society-shaking decision later, and she'd be on her merry way.

If she were to drop into the Monster Hunter crossover I'm working on, I'd squee at the opportunity to have her bust the plots of various incarnations of fear alongside Derpy and company and send them on a sidequest to recover a powerful magic battery that some of Sombra's minions are using to supercharge some fear magic. Said battery would turn out to be the shard, to the surprise of nobody.

Again, in either case, I'd be ecstatic to be working with such a distinguished author on one of the greatest piles of horse words ever written. Keep being awesome, Wanderer D!

Squee quite a bit, I think.

I'd run away with it to insanityland. :trollestia:

Hmm, I guess it would depend on the story.

Any involving Flare Blitz. He'd prolly help her on whatever quest brought her to his world, or even ask some of the Legendary Pokemon to help her get home.

Mocha would just offer her a relaxing beverage and some peace an quiet. Maybe play some music.

Seth from Brave New World, he honestly wouldn't do what to do. But I imagine his reaction would be the same as Flare's.

Like I said, it would depend on the story, and the context and reason she arrives in the first place.

Be overexcited and really curious to see how it would play out :rainbowlaugh:
