This is fun. · 2:53am Aug 19th, 2015
So, I've been working more on this sequel than the story I've been wanting to do. I'm having a blast with the way I'm writing this. Funny thing is, because I'm doing this from different views, I don't have a single chapter done. I've been working on the characters with the plan to have everything typed out first before splitting it up into chapters. I've been jumping around with who I've been working on, so some are farther along than others. But I do have a little bit of an idea of the first few chapters, as in the order of the views and what they do in each chapter.
Except Applejack. Each character gets separated when they go to this other realm. So, I tried to work it so that each character meets someone from the Dresden Files and slowly meets up. Applejack has been the only pony that I haven't quite figured out. I knew where to put her, but that was about it. I did get an idea of who she could meet, but I don't know where to go with it. It would also cause some conflict with some of the characters. Then again, it might be interesting. I'll have to try some things.
I've worked on Twilight, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Discord, and a character from Dresden Files, and I have plans for Rainbow Dash and Rarity. I've even done a chapter for Princess Luna, though it's not really done. I have to go back and fix it so it sounds like her. But I keep going back and forth with keeping the chapter or just dropping it. Other than it serving as the setup for everything, that's all I have planned for her or even Celestia. I feel it would be out of place to have one of them tell the opening part of the story and that's it. On the other hand, it seems they are important to set everything up.
But Pinkie Pie is fun to write for. I've only done a little bit for her so far, but she's so much fun. It's odd to both be free to goof off as much as I want with her but be limited on what I can do. You'll see what I mean when it's up. Discord is another interesting character to write for, but I've only worked on a little bit of his story. I'm so glad I started working on this.
