A movie totally worth seeing twice: The DUFF · 6:15pm Aug 13th, 2015
We all know that movies are all the same these days. They always have a happy ending. Especially highschool-dramas.
But I just watched The DUFF and I'm surprised by how good it actually was.
But what really made it so good? I'm not gonna spoil anything, but the most beautiful thing was that the main girl Bianca, actually stayed true to herself throughout the entire movie. Not like in usual movies, where the fat ugly girly suddeny is a super-model and acts like she's the queen.
We all love those of course, but what made this movie special was that she wasn't the shy geeky girl from the start. She was crazy and had a great personality, but instead of changing it through the movie, she simply embraced it.
And that was my little rant
The second thing that made the movie so great was the humor.
And those two are so shippable!
And to wrap it up, I loved the message the movie sent.
Because labels are silly. How can you label people when everyone is unique?

I hope you weren't offended by what I posted. I meant it in the best of all possible ways. It doesn't matter if a woman's a DUFF or not. In fact, I think that a woman being a DUFF is kind of a good thing because once a DUFF woman finds love it's hopefully with someone who loves, respects, appreciates and admires everything they are, inside, seeing the real, true beauty of that person and not merely the physical.
Personally, I've known and even dated a few women in my life time who were drop-dead gorgeous, physically, but were some of the most rotten human beings you'd ever want to meet!

Okay, I can agree with most of that but I'm not sure what you mean when you say, "don't care how they look". The way I understand what you said is that DUFF's don't take care of themselves? Okay, maybe I'm wrong about that but my wife always takes very good care of herself, always does her best to look her best when she goes out. Please tell me if I misunderstood. Thanks!
