Bronycon Day One schedule! · 2:11pm Aug 7th, 2015
Morning folks!
The con has started! I initially intended to go to the opening ceremony but the line for it was craaazy. So I've skipped it and I'm now at the Quills and Sofas!
My schedule for today:
Quills and Sofas until around 3:00
3:00PM-4:00PM -- Advanced Writing Panel
4:00PM-5:30PM -- Merch Hall, misc wandering, may return to Q&S
5:30PM-7:00PM(ish) -- Panels and/or getting food
10:30PM-11:30PM -- Scoping and Sizing Your Story for Success
And if I'm not too tired...
11:45PM-12:45PM -- Hoof of Argon
I'll be operating in stealth mode (black shirt and pants) but if you manage to stop me, please say hello!
Also, I may succomb to the need to get Twi plushie before my usual Merch hours so if I'm out for a moment, that's probably why!
Edit: A couple of highlights I've noticed so far. Someone had an AYY LMAO sign that I sadly forgot to take a picture of (a reference to XCOM, at least as far as I'm aware. I also saw a pair of guys cosplaying in full armed forces attire. My first thought was that one of them was SomeRussians, but I quickly dismissed this conclusion since there was a lack of hammers, sickles and PKMs.
Edit 2: After returning from the merch hall I now have a sky blue Fimfiction hat! I also put some money down on a floppy Twilight plushie, that will be done tomorrow!
USSR doesn't exist anymore, and yet hammers and sickles are what is associated with my country?
At least the weapon you mentioned is not AK. While I am proud of what Mikhail Kalashnikov did, it gets tiresome when AK is the only Russian weapon people remember...
