An opera you may have missed. · 2:00pm Aug 3rd, 2015
There was a little 'favor' of sorts a good friends asked of me recently. To listen in and critique a rather unique opera over at bandcamp.
The devil, in the highest of compliments, should be rewarded for it. It floored me. Dropped kick you down the stairs kinda floored.
You can listen over at Youtube or Here.
Part 3, well, its the threshold guardian. If you want one ending, stop before three. If you wish to follow down the hole the white rabbit has gone, well... You've been warned..
Enjoy, and may you be happy if you follow down the rabbit hole.
Welp, three weeks later... I bought all three of them, and the side story of the third, too, and I can't stop listening to them. This stuff is sublime
3447295 It blindsided me as well. It was done as a dare from a friend. Who asked me to comment on it, and he's a sneaky rocket scientist.
Hey, look
(that's the original crew, btw. Though it's a pity Paul Shapera himself just does the piano, and not Jasper. Apparently the male lead here (Edgar / Byron / Soldier 7285) isn't the same either; it's the guy who, in the recorded version, did John O’Brien, the dieselpunk cyborg from the second part)
I love the way they did Jasper, by the way. At the start he just looks like a lifeless doll, but by the end... wow. Those puppeteers did an excellent job.
3568028 Heheee! Thank ya kindly for this kinda news!
