New Story Coming Soon

Recently I have started writing a new story. It will be called "Lonely is the Night". The story will be about Princess Luna and her struggle to find love and peace after the defeat of the Tantabus. Here is a short beginning piece of the story.

The water looked deep and inviting. The air tasted crisp upon her pallet. When the breeze blew it illuminated the stars in the mare’s flowing mane. She dipped her plated hoof into the stream and watched the ripples slowly disappear back to the calm the water once was. If only it could stay this way, her mane pulled back loosely and watching the fireflies. But soon the age old alicorn must leave her favorite place in all of Equestria back into her harsh reality.
No matter how hard she tried to stay asleep, it always came. She would blink and return to the castle she and Celestia once shared and be engulfed into the darkness. It was only then that the darkness in the other half of her soul would take over. This did not happen on this night, and it had not since Twilight Sparkle and her friends helped her defeat and once and for all destroy the Tantabus that was eating her up with guilt. But it was not enough, and Princess Luna had yet another foe.
