One Year Anniversay Blogapaloosa! Spoilers for ALL current projects, future ideas, and also some secrets!

Today is the day. One year ago today a timid Mister E became a member of FiMfiction, and posted the first seven parts of his first story. I had already posted them on fanfiction on the 14th. Now fanfiction is a great site for getting your stories viewed, but there is nowhere near the same amount of interaction and feedback from the viewers. I was more than a little nervous. But somewhere I found the courage to hit 'post'. I told myself if at least one person likes my story, I will continue it until it's completed. I fully expected to be ripped to shreds, but that never happened. In fact out of the 12 stories I have posted, only one was an actual bomb, and even then I wasn't raked over the coals for it. Now it goes without saying that I have never been as popular as any of the big names on this site. I have a modest view rate, and although several of my stories have made the popular list, none of them have been featured, and none of them have been accepted by Equestria Daily... yet. But to me, as long as the majority of the viewers I DO have enjoy my stories, then it's all worthwhile.
Okay. So I thought as a kind of gift to the people that have been following me up until now, I would offer up all the goodies I am currently working on as a treat. Now normally I like to surprise people, but today is special. So, here's what's currently in the works.

Daughters of the Sea chapter 10- The 'friendly' competition between the griffins and the ponies is blown wide open with the arrival of unexpected entries into the contest. Can our crew hold up under the current pressure. And who are the NEW crew members slated to join Summergale in her adventures?

Sin Whinny chapters 13 & 14- Chapter thirteen will follow Moonlight Shadow from her perspective as she attempts to find the spy that has infiltrated the Night Guard. We finally get to see Moonlight unrestrained, and using some of her previously unrevealed powers. Chapter fourteen will follow Johnny's hunt through the Undercity, home of the Diamond Dogs. What he finds there will rattle the foundations of the entire city.

Insani-Tea- A philosophical comedy inspired by Virgini-Tea by Regina Wright. Twilight wants to find out more about Discord, she ends up finding out more about herself. Expect a LOT of really, really bad puns, with a healthy dollop of introspection. Here's a taste...

Suddenly, all Twilight could hear through her headphones was Vinyl Scratch’s most recent track, which thumped in unison to the dramatic strobe lighting that was blinding Twilight through her binoculars.

“AHHH, I’M BLIND! It’s like that time I accidentally walked in on you in the bathroom with that picture of Rarity!” Twilight yelled, forgetting that trees were generally less noisy.

“Hey, I thought we agreed never to speak of that again!” Spike snapped back, as his purple rapidly began to turn crimson.

Regrettably however, Twilight’s blinding had two unfortunate side effects. The first was, it caused Twilight to lose her balance, and fall out of the tree branch she was perched upon. The second unfortunate side effect, at least for Spike, was that Twilight’s flailing hoof just happened to grab onto his tail as she fell, dragging him with her. On the up side, at least HE had a reasonably soft alicorn to break his fall.
As for the alicorn in question, she WOULD have had a copse of young saplings to help break HER fall... had she not, minutes before, stripped them bare for her and Spike’s disguises. Thus proving once again, that Karma is a birch.

Story Time With Zecora Luna or Celestia Takes the Cake- Luna tries her hoof at storytelling Zecora style as she imparts the tale of Celestia's first encounter with cake. (Chibi Lulu and Sunny... so cuuuute).

The Herald's Tale- Sequel to The Longest Night. This story goes in depth into the Herald's origin, who he was, what he did, and who his brother is, or rather... MAJOR SPOLIER! His Som-bro!...

Delta- A true horror story. Who is this mysterious pony outside the door of Twilight's castle? How did she lose her memory? As the terrible storm rages on, Twilight feels compelled to help her. What is the meaning of that one word she spoke before passing out? 'Delta'

First up is alicorns. Here's a taste...

Alicorns are effectively immortal, growing wiser and more powerful as the age...

“Or in your case sister, WIDER and more powerful,” Luna interjects once more.

“Luna,” Celestia says sweetly.

“Yes sister?” Luna replies, “why do you have a hoof to either side of your face?”

“SOLAR FLARE!” Celestia shouts in response.

“AIIEEE! I’m blind!” Luna screeches. “It’s like the time I came into the bathroom and caught you with that picture of Mustang Bieber!”

Ahem... Alicorns are widely regarded as the ruling class of ponies. In some pony cultures, they are even deified. This can be traced back to ancient pony times, when, as the most powerful of the pony tribes, they ruled with an iron shod hoof...

“Wait wait wait, that NEVER happened,” Celestia says, narrowly avoiding her still blinded sister.

“What never happened? I’m blind remember?” Luna adds.

{Sigh}, Blindness only affects your eyesight. Your hearing is perfectly fine!” Celestia says in exasperation.

“OOOOOH... Okay. Ouch!” Luna says as she trips over an expertly placed white hoof, falling to the floor.

“As I was saying,” Celestia resumes, “After the three tribes came together and banished the Windigo’s, I was elected as ruler by a unanimous vote of the populace.”

Is that documented anywhere in canon?

“Well... no” Celestia admits.

Then in that case, you were a merciless dictator that basically enslaved the pony tribes by threatening to banish the sun forever.

“Neat!” Luna says, rising groggily to her hooves.

Okay, that about covers current projects. I was going to share some personal secrets as well, bu this is running way long, so how about this weekend for that? I'll put a 'part two' up then. Now before I close, there is one thing I kinda want to find an idea for, I was watching the following video the other day, and I couldn't help but notice just how much the lead singer of Alphaville, looked like a young John de Lancie. That plus the video itself gave me the idea of a John/Discord character going around saving the destitute of Earth and sending them through portals to Ponyville. The idea of someone, ANYONE being there to help all those in need really appeals to me. I just need to find a story to fit it. (Also I think this is an apropos song to go out on... )
