The Equine Aviary
Applebloom: “Look Applejack! She’s eating right out of my hoof!”
Applejack: “So why are you doing this again?”
Rainbow Dash: “To teach young unicorn and earth pony foals about the weird coolness of pegasi. So they can learn more about the world around them, and the many different kinds there are out there!”
Applejack: “Nice. So what’s the real reason?”
Rainbow Dash: “Free food, of course.”
Went to an aviary the other day. There were a lot of cool birds. And one of my thoughts was how cool it would be if Pegasi were in aviaries and stuff. And you could feed them things like fruit and get to ride on them. And there could be shows that teach you about them. Then I took that coolness and turned it dumb. Thus; this was born.
3266332 It's a great idea for one too. Just imagine it, Rainbow Dash coming up with the idea of building an aviary for pegasi, which she has built near Fluttershy's home (so Fluttershy doesn't need to travel far, and the extra food could be used to feed the animals). She tries to be there when she can for the food, but also tries to incorporate her flying practice into it as part of a show. Plus it now means she has a place to nap whenever she gets worn out. All while claiming that it is educational for others and displays what pegasi are like in the wild.
The biggest problem is the frustration it causes Twilight Sparkle, who feels like the whole thing is actually completely inaccurate.
