I just spend an entire day trying to do as little as possible following a two day Sargent Major Function. For those of you who may not know what that is, it was basically a highly watered down, light taste of boot camp for us poolies getting ready to ship off to basic training. There was a lot of this;

And this was what we ate for two day;
All in all, the most fun I have had in a long time. Of course, two months from now, and I am pretty sure the DI's will be trying their hardest to change my tune. That won't stop the hype train though!
Some of you may be confused as to why you are getting an update from this Magikarp guy, and where Night-Sky has gone off to. If you recall a while back, I was searching for a new alias to go by, since I had come to the realization that Sky was perhaps my first OC, but not really me. I have since come up with an OC for myself, but decided that I would have else for my online identity. So I decided to go with the tried and true, and went with A Wild Magikarp, my Steam, and pretty much everything else, name. feel free to look me up else-wear if you get the chance!
Now for the stuff you really care about.
I am going to try and get a few more chapters done before I leave for boot camp in September. 3+ months is a long time to go without any time to write, so I best make the most out of the time I have now, eh?
Next chapter will be out before the end of the week. Be prepared, because I have been waiting to write this one for a long time.
Also, I MAY or MAY NOT be getting a friend of mine to co-write with me. Having someone to bounce ideas off of besides my editor while in the development process would be highly advantageous, and take some of the weight off of me. That, and he is literally majoring in the theater, and is much more comedically inclined than myself, so he could help make the chapters a bit more interesting. Still, its not a guarantee, and he has said he wants to focus on auditions before doing anything else, so it will likely be a while.
