Well the general consensus I'm getting from the comments is that you guys don't want the girls turning human. I admit I'm somewhat disappointed because there were a TON of jokes that I have to throw out now (honestly the only reason I was having her turn human in the first place).
*sigh* oh well! I guess I'll have her turn anthro or something, maybe i can salvage some of the jokes still. I guess the "trip" will be a lot shorter than i originally planned.
Anyway this is why I'm glad I don't start on the next chapter until comments/reviews roll in.
Please comment I still want more feedback on this controversial subject.
Edit: on the fence still, I'll decide later. For now I'll be writing other things.

I don't know how far you planned in advance, but I don't advice to drastically change things because of a few negative comments. (They don't seem too negative to me

Change things too often, and your story becomes a patchwork, who pleases nobody and most of all yourself.
Maybe write the next chapter how you intented it to be and give it to some people you trust for betareading.
I personally liked what you wrote so far.
While I would much rather her turn anthro, and then maybe just an illusion spell that effects others, it is your story so do what you want.
Even if you already did this in your other romance story.
I will honestly just stop reading. I just hate ponification, and humanized ponies. They just ruin it for me, and when introduced in a romance story were the characters aren't the same species it feels like a complete cop out that just ruins it for me.

Well if thou truly wished, it could be a Illusion spell she cast on herself. a 'quick and easy' way to make herself appear human but isn't, which if someone touches her it would break the illusion, though if she really desired a more physical transformation may result in the 'anthro' variety that many know of.

The problem is that virtually all of the time it does stay permanent, and is used to move around the supposed interspecies romance taboo. Basically an cheap way to avoid it.
That is my experience with it anyway.

Dude don't make her anthro, because it will be more hilarious if she become full human (at least for a while) and how DJ will react
Plus you said that you have a lot of jokes for the next chapter so all you work it will be for nothing if you make her anthro, but if by the time you read this you already did it well it's alrigth i'm sure that it will be funny too

This is more logical to Celestia to try to become a human than anthro to seduce DJ. Will she succeeded or not this up to you.
What she do or become
1. Full human
2. Human with horn and wings
3. Anthro with human illusion
4. Anthro
5. Just illusion
The choice is yours.
P.S. I don't understand that butthurt about humanization. Yes, I don't like stories with humanized ponies too, but I understand that is not permanent and done for plot purpose and joke.
