F/F/T3K15: "The Catch" part one FINISHED; July one-shot poll results! · 2:17am Jul 16th, 2015
First of all, our riff of the first four chapters of "The Catch" by kudzuhaiku is complete and you can read it here. It kinda turned into the Steel and Sigma Show really quickly, and they completely spun the narrative and characters in a ludicrous new direction.
Also, how many people were thrown off or butthurt by that bait-and-switch? Did you really think we'd subject you all to Chatoyance AGAIN so soon? The fic we said we'd do ended up making most of us more angry and frustrated than we could channel to riff effectively, so unless that changes somehow and we get the drive, we'll hold off on running that story.
More on-topic, the results of the poll are in, and the winner is... "A Beautiful But Scary Effect" by Destroyershy96! Have at it, you rascals. And remember, you wanted this.
Also, you'll want to strap in in preparation for next week's multi-parter launch. We're going in hot.
I finally got off my ass and added something to the Destroyershy one. Right at the end.
It's still waiting for approval, though...
Why was I not informed that this existed!?
Awesome job with the riffs. Loved the robo-Violet. Already I am sensing something awful with the story. Rye seems to be socially awkward and yet nets in a pretty girl, much like in several characters in Kudzu's stories, namely Bucky. Not only that, but it already reeks of social justice with that conversation about Violet being the only mare in the crew, which will be carried out likely by Rye being the champion against sexism (like Bucky and racism) or using gender dominance. You are actually right on the money with The Chase getting burnt out with the inner circle crap. Chapters 600+ don't even reach 1000 views and this fic, despite being the prequel, barely gets any. Let me know when you release the next part.
By the way, whenever something bad is done against House Avarice, just imagine Kudzu waving his arms around and screaming, "Fuck the English!" This fic...this fic is really doing that. Believe me.
