Marvel: Fantastic Four final trailers released · 9:00pm Jul 14th, 2015
Okay, due to the obvious base breaker nature of the Fantastic Four reboot, I'll just let the trailers speak for themselves
A nerd who thought it would be cool to, with the help of a few equally insane buddies adapt the entire Marvel Universe (with some DC Comics thrown in for kicks) with My Little Pony...wish me luck

GF AU?
Also, is it just me, or did I hear Thing's voice, and it was really wimpy?
And that is one @#$%y teacher.
I do like, however, that both of the Storms seem to be scientists here. Makes there placement on the team a bit more logical.
3238139 I figure they're using Jamie Bell's actual voice, instead of tweaking it or anything (vulunerablity???)
And who'd be who with Gravity Falls?
OH MY GOSH, THEY GAVE THE THING AN EMO TEENAGER VOICE!!! I'm surprised they greenlit revealing that line in the trailer, you would think they would try their hardest just to hide entirely that he sounds like that!!!
Besides that, I just... this is one of the most unenthusiastic looking superhero movies I've seen in years. I mean... does anyone in these trailers look like they give a buck? I don't know, maybe the marketing team attached to this is trying to take a minimalistic approach with the marketing since everyone's so leary about this, but... gosh, nobody looks enthusiastic in this. Half the time people sound like they're whispering or muttering their words, THE COLORS ARE MUTED AS BUCK (I mean, if people complain about MoS, this movie seems so much more visually dark), and like I said, no one, potential audience/fans or the people in this movie, seem even excited about this. It's just weird. And no, I'm not gonna compare it to Ant Man, because Ant Man seems like an enthusiastic production at least. It knows it's different from the other movies, but its marketing and production teams seem to be reveling in that fact and doing the most that they can with it. I think one of two things is going to happen: (1) this movie's going to come and go completely unnoticed, maybe just end up being mediocre in quality or (2) it's going to bomb hard.
But again, oh my gosh, THAT'S what the Thing sounds like??!!! Holy crap, that's amazing!!!!!!!!
3238213 apprenty that's Jamie Bell's actual voice
not that it was a good idea to keep it post-transformation (at least try to make it deeper), but really, there are so many other things that could go wrong.
I'm firmly in the 'wait and see' group. The negativity became too stupid and petty for me far too fast
3238221
I'm in the 'wait and see' group too, we've seen too little to judge, but I'm in the 'wait and see but have a bad feeling about this' category.
3238231 better then the 'changed it now it sucks even though i haven't seen anything but one trailer/photo' group (looking at you Lunar)

I don't even necessarily blame filmmakers with there being so many problems going into making a FF movie, I think it's partly the source material as well. There are things about them that are difficult to adapt or for people to understand. Like, I don't like how the new Doctor Doom is shaping up, mostly because it looks like it's going to be another attempt like in the last movie series to give him too much gravitas and weight (which Doom should have, don't get me wrong), but without the WILD ego that makes him almost comical and absolutely a blast to watch. THAT'S something that in modern age superhero films I get is hard to adapt since filmmakers don't want to put an almost cheesily egotistical villain onscreen, but if any supervillain should have that type of personality, it's Victor von Doom.

If anybody should be singing their own praises from the rooftops, it's this guy.
3238270 exactly
the fantastic four source material, is, from what I've seen, insanely cheesy.
People joke, but its true when they say that The Incredibles is the best Fantastic Four film ever made
.... I don't like who they picked for the role as Mr Fantastic aka Reed Richards, he seems to....ugh.
3238367 he's actually a really, REALLY good actor, and if you don't believe me, watch the film Whiplash. Its amazing.
Bonus: its got JK Simmons (J Jonah Jamieson) in it

Actually that Incredibles comparison makes perfect sense, very good comparison!
3238399 I'd have to take your word for it, i've never even heard of the film Whiplash.

Here's the trailer. It was nominated for 5 Oscars (including Best Picture), and won 3, including Best Supporting Actor for JK Simmons
3238148 That's weird. I don't think vocal cords would work like that.
Well, I'm pretty sure the Stans would be Reed and Ben. Beyond that, I don't want to postulate until I've seen the latest episode. Which I plan to do in a few minutes.
3238458 Doesn't seem like the kinda thing i'd enjoy watching if i'm honest.
3238469 your guess is as good as mine
and i eagerly await your emotional distruction
3238470 i understand
Hey uh, Ben? Think you can at least put some pants on? I don't wanna have to be forced to stare at your rock parts like I had to keep my eyes from looking at Dr. Manhattan's ding-a-ling in the Watchmen movie.
