Apparently the release date has been pushed forward to 8/8/15, to celebrate the anniversary of the first game's release, with a free DLC released on Halloween. It seems pretty legitimate, and though I'm still taking it with a grain of salt, it honestly wouldn't surprise me, what with Scott's habit of releasing games months before the set release date.
But yeah, this looks amazing. And horrifying. I'm too much of a wimp to actually play these games (Outside of the first night in the demo, where Chica showed up in the window and I was like "Fuck this I'm out"), but I can't wait to watch it from the safety of YouTube. I honestly don't think I've ever been so excited and such a fan for games I don't even play haha.
